The Dragon's Stone
Alice’s voice is full of concern, “Is everything okay?”
“Do you know what this is?” I ask, showing her the picture. Alice shakes her head before handing it back to me. Realizing I’m starting to worry Alice, I ask, “What put an end to the dreams?”
Alice shrugs, “One day, the doctor said she was fine and made enough progress. That Tru may have bad dreams on occasion, but they won’t be nightly. For some reason, Tru’s brain processes things differently, and it isn’t anything concerning.” Alice looks up at me, and I see worry pass in her eyes, “You don’t think differently of Tru, do you? She’s not dangerous or crazy or anything like that.”
