The night I almost died. Panic rises in my throat, but I force it down. I watch as Michael disappears inside. Minutes feel like hours. Then—he’s back. I open the door before he even reaches the car. "What is it? What did you find?" Michael slides into the seat, his face pale. "Elizabeth... Dr. Maggie is dead. A few days ago. Car accident." My world shudders. "It can’t be a coincidence," I murmur. Michael exhales. "I don’t think it is. Someone might know you’re alive."

Poor thing. “Cause of death?” I ask absentmindedly as I return to my chair. Michael flips through the papers on his clipboard. “It says here that she overdosed on antidepressants.” Bingo. “You think your father killed her.” It is not a question. Michael has been with me for years. He’s smart enough to discern what I’m thinking even when I don’t say a word. “I don’t just think it, Michael. I know he killed her.” That crazy fucker.

I had to sneak in with hopes the police wouldn't be around. Yeah, my mind played tricks on me. Sneaking in was easy. I searched for Anton everywhere in the house but couldn't find him. Although I saw Silas's body in the kitchen, his head almost popping out of his body. That was a sign for me to know that Anton was doing his job until he was captured. That was a sign for me to know that Michael didn't die as I had hoped. He lived. Michael fucking Stone still lives. I seethed as realization flickered inside me.

I just nodded and walked out with him. By the time we had found everyone Michael had told me everything. From Dan coming clean about who he was to him leading Michael to the cabin only to have him betray Michael again. The rest of the evening was a blur. Michael stayed by my side the whole time. The corner came and pronounced Dan and Ethan dead. Once I was one hundred percent sure this was over I let them take me to the hospital. Michael wasn't hurt to bad this time but he went with me. "You know since you're here you should get checked out to." I said as the ambulance pulled up to the hospital.

"I am sure we'll find something." "So this is the grave." Mike said, pointing at the gravestone. It was gray with a few lily flower designs on it. I raised an eyebrow at Racheal. She was staring at the gravestone with hidden emotions but I could see how badly this was affecting her. "He loved lilies." She whispered. It was Michael who had howled. “Michael!” Hannah screeched. And Emma burst into action. She scrambled over to him, Hannah right behind, noticing Agremon’s lifeless body.
