Used to work in the military. 5 years to be precise. He ran away a few days ago but it seemed he played me for a fool.” I concluded as my grip on the steering wheel tightened and I tried to control the anger in my voice. “Got it. Hold on for a few minutes.” He replied and I took a deep breath. I had to stay calm for Charlotte.
