I nodded shakily, unsure of what all meant, but knowing that somehow, he was here. Different from the Talon I dreamed up. He was not the manifestation of a bite. “You summoned me to this world. Into this dream,” He said, stopping every thought in my head with his words but leaving just one question burning bright. Just who is this man and how is he capable of entering dreams?

I felt one of his hands on my head to help me stand up from my lying position. "I'm dreaming..." I held my breath again and tried to calm myself down. I know it was just a dream, but I feel like it's real. I looked at his hand on the side of my bed. I remembered the man's hand in my dream, but every time I looked at his hand, I felt that it wasn't him. The man in my dreams is not as gentle as the man who's with me right now. In my few months here on the island with him, I can say that he is a good person. I'm thinking it's a different century, that would explain why it didn't exist or this might be a different world entirely. Or my favorite explanation to this, I'm dreaming.” Yes, I still firmly believe that it's a dream. “ Dreams last longer than a month? My vision became clear, and I said with a hint of surprise, “Dr. Frost.” I remembered the scene from my dream and felt a flush of awkwardness. I had just been enrolled in college. I looked into his face, and his black hair and golden eyes reminded me of the man I saw in my dreams. Was this real? I knew I had dreamed of this man, but having him here in this moment sent every tingle and fire through my body, just like in the dream world. There's no way this was real. "This is a dream, right? I've seen you in my dreams before, so this is a dream."
