Is Vengeance A Sin Novels & Stories

Later that night, after everyone else had gone to bed, I found myself back at the windows, looking out over the city lights. Somewhere out there, Evan thought he was safe. Thought his fake death had bought him freedom. He had no idea what was coming. "Can't sleep?" Damian asked, appearing beside me as silently as ever. "Too much in my head," I admitted. "Anger can be fuel," Damian said carefully. "But it can't be the only thing driving you. Anger becomes vengeance, and vengeance is what The Balance warns against." "What's the difference?" I asked, genuinely curious. "Between justice and vengeance?"

It was so intense, like they were telling me something, they held a promise. But promise of what? Destruction. A small voice in the back of my mind hummed. Fresh tears escaped me as I started crying. Vengeance. That's what his looks held. Hunger for revenge. I gulped as the severity of the situation dawned on me. The man seemed insane and I had to stay away from him. Or else he might destroy me. And this time, I will be shattered completely.

( Sena's POV ) Killing is a mortal sin. People have conscience but these guys seemed to have lost it. My parent’s tragedy was also out of apathy by equally unconscientious people. Plus, there’s no fair justice in the Philippines. Everything is up to St. Peter when the time comes for those bastards to die. The past was set in stone and nothing else could be done but move on. My brother would say that there’s no benefit from revenge. Revenge is a punishment we give ourselves for other’s wrongdoings against us. Let karma do its work, right?

“Jude, be reasonable. You need an heir. You can’t want to raise the children of another man. For God’s sake, those kids might be the result of incest. It’s sin.” “Sin!” I repeated, chuckling bitterly. “I beat a man to death with my bare hands today. I skinned and burned a biker today to get information. I’ve killed more men than I can remember. We sell drugs and weapons. We blackmail and torture. How can a child be a sin?” The father lowered his arm. “Let’s postpone this discussion to another day.”

Tom did not take the accusation lightly, his hands clenched under Suzanne’s. The vampire proceeded to explain, “All the seven deadly sins that humanity is guilty of; lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy and pride have somehow created a splinter to the gates of hell. The black mist is but the beginning.” “Technically, you are a part that damnation,” Tom retaliated. The vampire covered his mouth in mock surprise, “Touche…but like I said before, my kind and I played no part in this. Look, I am here to offer my aid. I am not your enemy.”

Coventina mutters. “Does anyone want to clue me in as to what in the ever loving fu—fudge is going on?” I shout. “Yes, we will. You, as you now know, are Coventina’s incarnate in the Lunar Realm. You have never been an ordinary hybrid. That was never in the cards for you,” Selene answers. “Why?” “Because after the Dark War that Morrigan fought in, Beatrix was brought back. They had a necromancer bring her back and she is seeking revenge and using the rogues to do it.” Coventina answers.

Mandy barked. "Yea, I think she'll be a great profit to the band." Mandy was suffocated with shock, and was getting short of breath, "but um... You just met this loser today and we... I and Mckayla have known you since a long time." "Yea, I'd pick either of you but Trina is the singer Jackson Fellas need. I'm sorry but I pick Trina." Mandy felt bittered, she stared into his eyes boiling in fury and she turned her gaze to me. I could see the rage in her eyes, I got nervous like she was going to push me in front of a train, and I stared at the floor to avoid staring into her eyes.

I wiped my tears and looked straight into her eyes. "You can take your money to hell for all I care. I will never accept it. I wish both of you rot in your grave. But before I leave, I need you to know that, it won't end here. I will come for you and your son when it is VENGEANCE HOUR, even if it will be a hundred years from now" I said with so much determination and stood up but stopped by the door of the limousine and looked back at her with a straight face.

she shrugged her shoulders, trying to hide her insincerity. For some reason, she could not get rid of the animosity she felt toward her even though the woman was being nice to her so far. The woman might be unaware but she was one of the people Diana condemned when the latter was still alive. Diana used to love the woman's husband. In the eyes of God, it was a sin to love someone who already belonged to another woman, and so Diana chose to make sacrifices even though she was bearing a child of that man in particular. A poor innocent child that has nothing to do with their wrongdoings has to be the one to suffer. But anyway, she's so done being the victim.

I looked at Gideon with hatred when he asked those questions. He is evil himself that even Satan will recede for him. For the first time in my life, I wanted to kill someone. If there is something worse that will happen to Elon. I will kill him myself. I don't care who you are but damn you for hurting the person that I love. Vengeance will make someone bloodthirsty. An eye for an eye that will torment your conscience.
