“Isaac.” I moved closer to him and yet it felt like he didn’t even hear me. Eyeing the restraints, I braved my way and finally stood in front of him. When he still didn’t react, I slowly crouched. Astrid was whining at her mate’s negligence, while I was curious. What could have made him like this?
I slowly stretched out my hand and was about to touch him when a familiar voice said, “If you don’t want to be destroyed, then move back.” I was startled and stood up. Strangely, Isaac remained oblivious, as if he didn’t even know two other people were here.
