A moment later, a logo popped up, along with the words “The Island.” A British male voice started speaking, but the camera didn’t show the narrator. Instead, it showed scenes that looked like something out of a hunting show to start with. As I listened to the narrator recapping the last episode, one of the images featured a slightly overweight man grappling with a shorter black woman. He held her down, forcing her onto all fours before climbing on top of her.

A blood covered Isla stood there and she looked like she was about to take the head of the gatekeeper with her from the looks she was giving him. When her eyes snapped to mine I gulped in fear. I was in deep trouble. But I was glad to see her, even though she shouldn't be here. “Alpha, I mean, Isla, you shouldn't be here. This is the sacred temple of the moon goddess and I -” she cut me off by grabbing me by the throat. “For someone in your position, you sure have a lot to say that isn't in your defense!” Isla hissed at me, the tingling feeling of her hand touching me didn't simmer down the rage she was obviously feeling.

I say, and she repeats what I said back to me, but with a sultry tone, "The things you do to me~" I stopped dead in my tracks and clenched my fists, if she didn't stop talking like that we would have problems. We all looked at each other wondering what had happened. I was the first to move, taking long strides up the stairs to her room. I opened the door to Aimee’s room slowly. Her hair was white as snow and she wore the most elegant dress, it swirled around her like it was alive. My eyes flew to Aimee, who was floating in a mass of swirling blue light. Alpha Allison smiled making my blush deepen. “That’s what you meant when you said I was the one who told you we were coming?” I faced Maria in an attempt to take the focus off myself and the older woman smiled secretly. “Indeed, I have a special connection with the Moon Mother.” She didn’t say much else but given the look that passed between us, we were sure she knew a lot more than she was letting on. “Maria is considered the Shawoman of the High Tide Pack, her existence was kept a secret to protect her and the pack from ill intent.” Jasper supplied, looking at Maria with emotionless eyes while she simply smiled at him.
