Chapter 23 I stood in front of isla palace. I didn't want to be here and as much as I hate the way my life was I'd be lying if I said I hated the island because that would be a lie I do love it here. “Ms Martago, we've been looking everywhere for you,” Sedrick says, when opens the door. I give him a small smile. “I'm sorry if I worried anyone. I just didn't want to leave with those men,”

The Secretly Rich Man

The Secretly Rich Man

Truth be told, he didn’t mind sleeping on the floor, but at the very least, he wanted to sleep someplace away from the wind and rain… “Speaking of which, where’s the general area of that island?” asked the old man who had nearly finished eating the entire chicken on his own. “Northbay,” replied Gerald. “Finally, a familiar name. If I’m not mistaken, there’s an ancient book about the islands in Northbay on that bookshelf, though I’m not sure which book it is,” said the old man as he licked his fingers clean before pointing at one of the shelves. “Oh?” replied Gerald, his eyes momentarily glinting with excitement.

It's a good book as far as I have read so far. I'm getting discouraged, though. I'm running out of patience and time for these types of stories. "Neverending" stories where some chapters repeat themselves for some reason or other drives me bunkers. Just saying. I prefer shorter stories.

The Lust Journal

Quiet came—waves, birds, the yacht creaking deeper into sand. The island’s dock was junk: small boats floating empty, a fancy speedboat sinking with engine on, a water bike half under with expensive bags. Guards gone with the people—some took boats, others swam to reef, cut by rock. The main house smoked; computer room a black hole, fire gone after eating machines, melting metal. I pulled the boat onto warm sand from the fire, walked barefoot, camera clicking: burned cloth, broken glass, gold mask split like a face. I found them on the stage—right where I left.

MATED TO MY BROTHER'S ENEMY

MATED TO MY BROTHER'S ENEMY

"I can feel it, their loyalty, or whatever twisted version of it they have, didn’t die with Kael’s army. Some of those raiders slipped away, hid out on the islands. They're still lurking." Thorne’s face went grim, mouth twisting. "We figured as much. A couple of our boys spotted ships where no sane sailor would go, creeping through reefs at night, ducking in and out of those ‘uninhabited’ islands. Looks like the fight’s not over, not by a long shot."

Rebound to the Lycan Alpha

Rebound to the Lycan Alpha

“Twelve years ago, the Sunken island was home to one of the most prestigious wizarding family, the Drownlords. But things went down when the Minister of ancient runes and symbols was reported for practicing the forbidden arts. The incident was reported by his wife, Laura Drownlord.” I peered at Morana. Her expressions tightened at the mention of Laura. “It is believed that Gilbert stole an ancient textbook written in an unknown language that was discovered during an artifact expedition in the ruins of an ancient temple. The authority took action as fast as they could, but before they could stop him, the tragedy hit the island. The island drowned, only a part of it remained outside of the wat

This book was amazing! Sometimes triggering, but besides that, I cried and laughed throughout. I loved this take on the werewolf lore. Redemption and love conquering all. Thank you for this amazing read!

The Wolf And The Pure Blood

The Wolf And The Pure Blood

The unexpected arrival piqued their curiosity, and they exchanged uncertain glances as they contemplated the implications of this intrusion. Zena and her men, Norman and his men, and Adam quietly watched from their hidden vantage point in the depths of the dark woods, their breaths coming out in barely a whisper as they observed the boat arriving at the shore of the isolated island. The sunlight shone bright as the sailor disembarked and barked orders to his crew, prompting them to begin unloading large, mysterious crates from the vessel. Suddenly, a group of men, presumably belonging to Dagon's gang, emerged from the shadows and converged upon the boat, meeting with the sailor and his crew.

Good Girl in Action

Luxferre stopped moving and looked at us fiercely. “Leave me like this, and then you’ll never go back.” “Are you threatening us? You’re just going to kill us. We can’t stay on this island any longer. If only we can find a ritual to solve our problem,” I said. “I was right. You’re here to steal our book of enchantment.” “Book of what?” “You mean the book in my hands?” Kylo said. I grabbed the books and opened it. When I was about to read the book, Luxferre uttered words I couldn’t decipher. Instantly, the words in the book turned to something unusual.

What should I say about this story? It's just awesome. It got a good plot and appears promising. Author has done an awesome job in depicting the emotions portrayed by the characters n fantasy world build up. I usually don't read fantasy genre, but this one caught my eyes. Kudos to the author .........

My Lycan Prince.

My Lycan Prince.

My Lycan Prince Chapter five. I‘ve never in all my life seen a place so beautiful. Isla Martago is far from a small island, it's a huge island in the middle of the ocean. It's so breathtaking….the beauty of it. The breeze that comes off the water is cool and it ruffles through my hair as I hang further out the window to get a better view of the city. Buildings stand tall along with statues and a flag. It's a gold flag with a black crest in the middle along with the name Isla Martago. Archer hasn’t said a word since we got into the limousine but that goes two ways I guess and I haven’t said anything to him either but I have been kinda busy staring at this beautiful place that I get to call ho

The Wolf behind the desk

He looked like a god of war. It is time. Rian said. I nodded. We walked to the docks. The mist looked thick. The mist covered the water. We climbed into the boat. Zara sat at the helm. Thorne sat in the back. The engine roared. The boat moved into the dark. I looked back at the island. The island looked like a shadow. I looked forward. I saw the lights of the city. The Keep. The throne. The end. I felt Rian's hand on my shoulder.
