Stealing the Wrong Treasure

Stealing the Wrong Treasure

The sign out front was brand new, and the yard then boasted a swing set and a slide. The first time I ventured out on a mission for the thieves' guild, I stumbled upon that place. It had already been taken over by the Gilbert Group and transformed into a genuine orphanage. As expected, there was no news of the little blind kid. A frail meow caught my attention. A tiny cat, huddled in the corner with a limp back leg, was painstakingly inching forward on its front paws. Out of nowhere, rain began to fall, heavy drops pounding the pavement. The kitten squinted against the rain, determined to keep moving.

The Groom Thief

The Groom Thief

"Nora, aren't you going too far? Ethan used to be your boss. He treated you so well. How could you do this to him? "No wonder you resigned and left so quickly back then. So this was your plan all along. You stole company money and took confidential company files. Now you're living so comfortably." Mia coldly accused me from the side. I ignored her. I looked at Ethan. Our eyes met. He quickly looked away. It seemed this entire scene today was something he had planned too. I wasn't surprised. I was already used to it. In fact, if Ethan wasn't involved, I might have found it strange.

Reincarnation - The Divine Doctor and Stay-at-home Dad

Reincarnation - The Divine Doctor and Stay-at-home Dad

Although he had not figured out what it was, it was definitely a good thing. He reached out to hold the book in his hand and studied it carefully, only to find that he couldn't open it anyway. Mr. Smith said, "Mr. Qin, this book can't be opened. We've already tried it." Qin Haodong asked, "Where did you get this book?" Mr. Smith said, "It was also stolen from a rich family's treasury. But this book is very strange. It doesn't seem to be an antique at all. So we left it in the warehouse and didn't take it out to sell."

Good Novel should have a feature where readers are allowed to grade novels based on contents, grammar, errors in spellings, names, storylines and maybe repeats. And these gradings come with deductions of the point values of future chapters. This exercise will keep quality control automatically

i I see the i this chapter the person writing is zenophobic. He or she does not like black people or foreigner s.The story is read by different kinds of people. I think the writer needs to write a apology chapter for promoting discrimination

Dear Ex-husband, I Don't Love You Anymore

Dear Ex-husband, I Don't Love You Anymore

“You like books.” “You stole a stranger’s book.” He didn’t look ashamed. “They were not reading it, it was just laying around” I blinked. “So you took it?” “Yes.” “Because they were not reading it?” “Yes.” I couldn’t help it. A laugh slipped out before I could stop it. Mikhail glanced at me like he didn’t know what to do with the sound, then at the book like he wasn’t sure if he’d done something wrong. “It’s okay,” I said. “I appreciate the felony.”

Rebirth And Revenge: The Betrayed Heiress's Return

“Yeah. This signature is the same. It should be the one that Vivian lost.” “I didn’t expect that Ailina was a thief.” “I found her eyes strange when she came in. But I didn’t know she would steal Vivian’s book.” “That’s so terrible. She did steal Vivian’s book. But since she is not here now, let’s wait to see what she’s gonna say when she’s back.”

One good thing about this story is that the FL not only has a doting boyfriend but also a doting mother-in-law. Loved reading this very positive love story of a badass FL. one complaint would be this book needs a lot of corrections. It is a bit messy.

Ravished By Her Fated Beasts

Ravished By Her Fated Beasts

It was a far cry from what she had been just the day before. I met Joel back at the den and we went to another meeting about the shipyards. The human law enforcement had let the thieves be killed in their custody. The wolves had no leads on the potion they were sure was involved. As far as anyone could tell the men were just regular, low quality burglars. It was a long unsatisfying meeting. "Except for the fact they kept claiming to be invisible, which the police did not understand, they were normal humans," Joel told me shaking his head.

Lurking In The Dark - Book 1

Lurking In The Dark - Book 1

First Reese, who absolutely didn’t want me there, then the unknown Proles with his young animals, but the most important thing was probably the visit to the old warehouse, where I had learned about things that would have been better kept hidden. Monsters didn't just exist in the form of proles. I hated people like Taid. Of course, honest work is usually more difficult these days. There were few people whose laurels of their work simply fell into their laps without much effort, but that was by no means a reason to get involved in illegal and disgusting things like him. How could he still make money from those monsters I hated the most in the whole world, who wreaked havoc on humanity? I sighe

MARKED BY MY ALPHA'S FATHER

MARKED BY MY ALPHA'S FATHER

"Someone stole my firstborn... and convinced me to spend sixteen years raising the wrong child. I have spent years bleeding for the borders of this territory, believing in the honor of our vanguard, while the truth was being chewed away by moths and traitors." He reached the central shelf and grabbed a massive, iron-bound leather ledger. The book was nearly three feet wide, its spine cracked and peeling from decades of handling. Marcus dragged it from the alcove and slammed it down onto the reading table in the center of the room. The impact sent a shockwave of dust into the air, catching the silver light of Elena's palms and twisting like ghosts in the dark.

The Dawn Falls

The Dawn Falls

" I don’t turn a person into a bookworm. You should give it a try. Reading is fun. " His fingers slid through the spines of the book. "Will you let me borrow your books?" Yes, yes. Just take care of them. " I don’t usually lend books to other people. He’s a friend, and he saved me from death. Lending him a book every week or so was not a huge distraction. "I suggest a thriller book for beginners and guys like you." "Are they good?" "They were fantastic." I walked toward him and picked up a book for him to take to his place. I chose a third-person point of view for my domestic thriller. The one that crept up on me one time. "Try this."

The Secret Whisperer

The Secret Whisperer

she said, her voice steady. The librarian looked at the form, then at Leila. Her face darkened, her lips curling into a frown that could sour milk. "We don’t have that book anymore. It was stolen." Leila raised an eyebrow. “Stolen? From a library?” The librarian nodded, her expression as flat as week-old coffee. “People are like that. No respect for books anymore.” Leila gave a tight-lipped frown, but her mind was racing. Stolen? Someone had come here and taken Yellen’s work. Not just borrowed—stolen. She had to find out why, but not here. Not now.
