Alpha Draven's Regret: The Return of His Rejected Mate

Alpha Draven's Regret: The Return of His Rejected Mate

If I had, Draven would have silenced me, his instincts prevailing over any understanding of my desire for solitude. And Auren… he would have followed behind, obstinate and guardian-like as always, his child's eyes already too attuned, too haunted by prophecies he knew too little of. But I needed isolation. I needed truth that had not been tainted by hope or denial, untinted by the fierce passion that blinded my senses when it was a question of shielding my family. The atmosphere was thick with an abnormal power as I drew near, vibrating like the hum of a bee from some distant flower, perpetually present in this location like a mist on a morning that refused to clear.

The king of Ashes

The king of Ashes

(Isabella’s POV) The days that followed Alessandro’s meeting with Don Gallo were a strange, unsettling blend of profound intimacy and escalating tension. In the quiet sanctuary of our penthouse, we were Alessandro and Isabella, a man and a woman deeply in love, planning a future together. We would talk for hours, late into the night, about our dreams, about a life that felt impossibly far from the bloodshed and power struggles that defined our world. He would hold me, his touch a silent promise of protection, and in those moments, I could almost forget the storm brewing outside our walls.

The tension between Alessandro and Isabella is ... right from the start, and I love how she’s defiant instead of just scared. It’s steamy, full of power plays, and already has some crazy drama going on. Only a few chapters in, but it’s addictive…def giving me those late-night read. 4.5/5 so far.

SOFT CURVES

SOFT CURVES

In that moment, Isla felt as if the world had faded away, leaving only the two of them locked in this perfect, passionate connection. "Ohhhh, I’m about to come! It’s coming!" she screamed, her voice raw with desire. The world around her seemed to fade away as she neared the peak, a wave of ecstasy washing over her. Her nails dug into the sheets, her body arching involuntarily against him.

I Alone

I Alone

He shoves the cellular phone at me and I hastily poke around until I have pulled up the picture gallery. The first photo stops me dead in my tracks. A light scar in her eyebrow, light freckles around her eyes and nose, heterochromia in one eye. The only difference is the little stud in her nose, the feathering of the hair, and the modern clothing. It is like looking at Elsie alive again. I pinch my nose bridge as I flip through the rest of the photos. Her graduation, random self shots, pictures of nature, plants...the plants. Elsie's love of nature, plants and the supernatural is what contributed to her demise.

HIS POISONOUS POSSESSION

HIS POISONOUS POSSESSION

The intimacy that followed was a violent, chaotic struggle for autonomy. Dante took me with a territorial ferocity that went beyond anything we had experienced in the mountain or the Core. He wasn't just claiming my body; he was using the physical act as a high-frequency jamming signal to disrupt Isabella’s neural imprint.

THE ALTAR WE BURNED

THE ALTAR WE BURNED

and loving another woman. She slammed her fist against the table, sending the mug crashing to the floor. The shards glittered like broken promises, much like her own life. Catherine’s breath came in ragged gasps as she whispered, “You’ll regret this... you’ll see.” ------ Several miles away, the morning light filtered softly through gauzy curtains into a small, sunlit room where Arthur lay tangled with Isabella beneath crisp white sheets. The air was thick with the scent of lavender and the quiet intimacy of two souls intertwined. Arthur’s hand traced lazy circles on Isabella’s back, each touch a silent confession of the healing they found in each other.

Rejected By The Alpha Claimed By The Lycan King

Rejected By The Alpha Claimed By The Lycan King

Found a solution. It's absorbing the bonds. Not the Auroras. The bonds themselves. The connections between realities. The love that makes us us. It's consuming the threads. Severing the ties. Isolating each Aurora completely. Making us truly alone. Truly individual. Truly vulnerable. And when we're completely alone. Completely isolated. Completely unbonded. Then it can absorb us. One by one. Reality by reality. Infinite slow doom instead of infinite quick victory. It found a way. It adapted. It's winning. Again. Always. Inevitably.

A Queen Among Blood

A Queen Among Blood

I can tolerate many things, but people like him who abuse people in the abhorrent ways he did make me sick to my stomach. I let him drop to the ground and watch him crawl away from the bars. Pathetic. Oh sure, he’s strong when he’s abusing children, but put him against someone who can actually take him and he runs with his tail between his legs. He brings shame to his kind and his creator. I leave him in his cell without another word and follow the sounds of my sisters and some intense arguing. Soon my vision is filled with many bright auras, but it’s one, in particular, I’m looking for. I do a quick scan and soon I see the pure-vibrant French violet aura of Isolde as she sits in her cell. Another amazing story in the A Queen Among series! The characters are amazing, with such depth. The author has such a well thought out mythology, with very thoughtful and thorough explainations, and really pulls you into her universe. I can't wait to see where this story takes us.

This is by far my favourite series! I laughed, cheered and bawled my eyes out. Each book gets better and better and the way each one is connected to the others blows my mind. I'm already itching to find out what happens with Isolde in the next book!

The Invisible Bride (By the King's Command book 4)

“Leave us. Now.” Isobel squinted her eyes shut and buried her face against her husband’s chest, mortified by what she had just done. How had she forgotten they weren’t alone? She heard the door close. Her husband slid off of her, adjusting the covers over her as he moved to the side. She wiggled over a bit to make as much room as possible for him beside her in the tiny bed, but she could still feel the heat of him along her side. The dampness between her legs begin to cool and she could feel wetness seeping through her chemise just above the thatch of hair that covered her womanhood.
