Richie drank his coffee; he felt better, cleaner, and more relaxed though he still had the vision of Margaret in his bed. "Now, Richie, are you feeling better?" Violet asked as she took her seat across the desk from him. Richie nodded and chewed his bottom lip. "I got to the house, and at first, I couldn't find her. She was nowhere she should have been. It was only when I went upstairs that I found her." "Richie, was she alright? She wasn't ill or anything?" He shook his head and sighed. "No, I found her in my bed, bringing herself off watching me on a DVD when I did the financial thing for Sky."

The elevator finally landed on the last floor and slide open, I puffed my chest out and moved my shoulders around a little without taking my hands out of my pants pocket as I made my way out of the elevator, vividly aware of Richie falling into steps behind me. “Er, a word, Luca?” His voice finally drifted up from his spot behind me and I slowed down before pausing in my tracks. “What’s that?” I demanded without bothering to face him, I wasn’t worried about Richie trying anything stupid on me like stabbing me in my neck now that my back was turned to him, or blowing my brains off because I wasn’t looking at him. Richie and I might have a past together, but that didn’t stop him from being aut

"I Know it is too much to ask, just coming into your life and changing the way things work and I am truly sorry about it all, I will begin with rewarding you, I'll pay you everyday that you are with me until I can discard this issue." Coming from a billionaire, I knew it wasn't impossible. "I don't want money, at least not for now. If you're going to take care of anyone, please let it be Alex." This was finally my time to pay Alex back for all he had done for me especially when all I did was get in trouble. "Fine then." He smiled, "night time, prepare yourself." He took a piece of chicken wing from the table as he took his exit, "enjoy your meal."

Carol took a breath, checked her reflection in Kate's mirror one more time—smoothing down her hair, making sure her shirt sat right—and followed. The dining room was already set when they arrived. Three places at the table, cloth napkins folded beside each plate, glasses of water already poured. Mr. Rich moved between the kitchen and dining room with easy efficiency, bringing out serving dishes filled with colorful vegetables, perfectly cooked chicken, and fragrant rice. He'd changed since they'd arrived—traded his work shirt for a simple black t-shirt that fit him in ways Carol tried very hard not to notice. Kate headed straight for her usual seat, the one facing the window. Which left two

He opened the folder afresh, skimming the pages faster than ever and repeated this for about two more times. "Mr McAllister? Is something wrong?" asked Mitch. Charles flashed Joanne a dark foreboding look. Like a dark sky before a storm. "Where's my Quantity Bid? Sure as shit isn't in here." Charles boomed.

, She says and I look out of the bathroom with the toothbrush in my mouth and I scrunch my nose. “Richie?”, I ask and she nods her head heavily. I shrug my shoulders and finish getting myself a little more presentable. Richie is really cute to be fair. He was the first one that caught my eye when I met them but Henry has something about him that made me want to get to know him. I walk out towards the front room and Richie is sitting on the settee with the remote on his hand. He is sitting back relaxed with his leg crossed and his hand resting on his knee. Roxie looks at him and I can almost see dribble coming out of her mouth.

“But I can tell that he is rather reserved. I am afraid that he must not have been to this kind of big event and seen so many people before, right? Alas, we cannot blame him. This kind of country bumpkin who has already been poor for a long time has very little knowledge but suddenly came into so much money. Therefore, it is inevitable for him to have the nouveau riche mentality!” “Exactly! He will only regret it when he has already spent all of his money. However, it will already be too late at that time. Sigh. Instead of thinking of ways to improve himself, he is actually spending tens of thousands of dollars just to buy a ticket to participate in such a high-end event?” There were two wom

Hurriedly, she opened the door but the smile fell from her face as soon as she opened the door and it was replaced by anger and fear. "Richie, what the hell are you doing here? The police are all over looking for you and you decided to come to my place? What if someone saw you?" Her eyes darted around to check if anyone was watching Richie rushed inside and she quickly closed the door and faced him angrily, "what the hell are you doing here?" She snarled "I need money" Richie replied curtly, not caring about her anger Joelle snorted, "My business with you finished from the moment that you decided to take matters into your own hands and demanded for ten million ransom for a boy that you didn'
