Be good to Summer. I wish you both happiness for the rest of your lives.” With that, I shut off my phone and boarded the flight. Half an hour later, Lucien was still at dinner with Summer, unaware of my message until his phone rang. It was his assistant. “Alpha Lucien,” the voice said, tense. “There’s been a plane crash. One of the evening flights just went down.”

Absent-mindedly, I opened my phone and realised that I had received a text message from Isla. You knew it! It said. My eyes widened. Oh no!

I could just think about crying and the fountain is on. It’s just too much for me to handle. I quickly get out of bed and rush to the kitchen to microwave the cold pizza from yesterday or the day before? I wasn’t sure. But I put in anyways and I set the timer. I rush back to the bathroom taking a quick bath. The only a* pay is so good and I get an extra bonus cause I am pregnant. The shop owner was so nice and welcoming and so homey. I think that has to be the only friend in my life right now.
