"Let me try, give me a chance to show you how much I love you, we could begin again." I stared up at his determined expression and so many thoughts ran through my head. Could a relationship like ours really start over? Or is it just wishful thinking? It was a leap of faith I was taking, I just hope it wasn't a mistake. "We can try." Demetrius smiled widely. "It's a date." ****

“I didn’t think it would end like that.” I watched him carefully. “Are you okay?” He glanced at me, then nodded. “Yeah. I think I am.” I smiled softly. “So, what now?” Jake exhaled, looking out at the waves. “Now… we start over.” Something warm spread through me at his words. A fresh start. For the first time since all of this began, I believed it was possible. Jake turned his gaze back to me, his eyes filled with something new. Something unspoken, but unmistakable.

“It's not...too late to start afresh, right?” Kate's teary eyes widened in surprise but then quickly nodded as her lips curled up in a fine smile. “Yes, dear. We...we can start over. It's never too late to start anew.” Ana gulped and nodded. “Can I hug you right now?” Kate smiled warmly and immediately stretched forth her arms so wide and Ana immediately scooted closer to her and rested her head against Kate's chest, inhaling her mother's perfume for the very first time and implanting it in her memory. Kate wrapped her arms around Ana as they both started to sob with each other.

"You know the car is locked." "Talk if you want to talk, just drive me to my dorm." He let out a sigh before he started maneuvering his car out of the men’s dormitory. "Can we start over again?" He asked after a while. "How many times do we have to start over again before we realize we just keep hurting each other? Maybe it’s time to just move on with our lives." I told him in a voice devoid of any emotion. "I know I am the asshole here." "Yes, you are."

We talked about food, the strange way restaurant bread can make or break a date, and the little things we both noticed that most people overlooked. But like all quiet nights that mean something, the air eventually shifted. And so did the conversation. He set down his fork slowly, as if the next words required room. “Do you ever think about... starting over?” he asked. I blinked. “All the time.” “Not just moving on,” he clarified. “Not running from pain. I mean really starting new. On your own terms.” I stared at the half-empty glass in front of me, the candlelight flickering between us.

Or maybe, just maybe, it was the start of something new— Once again; not that that means anything. ** {Revna's POV}

“At the time, I was too cold and too full of myself. Now, I realize you’re the one who’s truly worth cherishing.” I looked at him coldly, saying nothing. He sighed, seeming a little lost, and continued, “I’ve taken care of everything from the past. Claire isn’t a problem anymore. I hope… you’ll give me a chance to start over.” I raised an eyebrow slightly, my tone indifferent as I asked, “Start over?” “Yes.” He nodded eagerly.

He paused. "You have the chance to start over. However you want, with whatever you want.” I looked at him, unable to process everything. Then he added, “Rosemarie, you're getting the chance to start all over again. Don't you think you need to smile a bit?”

Planning his next move. Silly bastard. This isn’t over. It’s just beginning.
