Hunter and the Hybrid princess

Hunter and the Hybrid princess

Alister asked and stood up, he drew his sword and placed it next to the other sword on the table "Read its name..." Danté squinted at its Celtic encryption "Dragonsbane" "Does that name ring a bell to you?" "No?" "They are the swords of our forefathers, this belonged to Sir Lancelot, a knight of the round table" Danté chuckled "A Knight of Arthur? Did you steal this then?" "Did you steal yours?" "It was handed to me by the cross!"

scowled Juno. Gerald couldn’t help but raise an eyebrow. He didn’t think they would locate them that quickly… “Take care of Rey and Yrsa, Juno. Now leave while you can! I’ll be taking these people on!” ordered Gerald. “Loud and clear! Please, be careful!” replied Juno as Gerald summoned his Astrabyss Sword. Seeing the sword, one of the purple Soul Hunters immediately pointed at it before yelling, “That must be the weapon, brothers!” With how unique and sharp the blade looked, the Soul Hunters were able to immediately discern that it was the one used to take out the seventh squad…

Life After Prison

Life After Prison

Jangar resembled the aura of a peerless sword, and his aura had broken through the arena's shield to envelop Nontwo City. His body was bathed in the glow of sword light as he gazed coldly at Severin. He then nonchalantly tossed his long sword in Severin's direction. The speed of flight was not very swift, and one might even describe it as being remarkably slow. Yet, with each advancement, sections of the blade seemed to dissipate, giving rise to a sword light approximately ten feet long. As the blade vanished, the sword light grew even more.

This storyline has some interesting characters. Jada and Easton are so busy ranting and raving about Severin and Edward is making a complete donkey out of them. This is a good book. I know it’s ongoing but so far I am enjoying it. Do not miss an exciting book if you’re looking for something goo.

one of the best novels of this site. well written and great story. The only problem is Monday you get a lot of pages and chapters, and the rest of the week you get a page a day. Come on the author and this site can do better. Really about to stop reading because of this.

As they were walking around, Raoul subconsciously stopped when he saw a weapon shop selling swords and various other weapons that looked pretty. His gaze was focused on a slender sword with an extremely sharp-looking blade. Although the sword Ariana had given him was no less beautiful and sharp, it was already starting to be too small for Raoul, who was in his growth period. Raoul had been taught how to judge the quality of a sword by Valencia. And he immediately knew that the beautiful-looking sword has excellent quality.

Sword of blood

Sword of blood

We were joined soon by Anthonier and Hilra who also appeared surprised at the sight. But while Xialara tried to check for a pulse in her neck and base of her thumb. Something else caught my eye. The ruby colored gem at the hilt of the sword was now a clear diamond. No sign of red. I picked it up by its blade and examined it under the moonlight to check for any cracks or possible leakages. There were none. The red color had just vanished. My blood was gone.

The Omega The Alpha Couldn't Kill

The Omega The Alpha Couldn't Kill

He missed everything about her. "Jax," Nova said, her voice calm but sure, "you're the sword with the sapphire at the top. Cael's is the emerald. Fin's is the center. Elle, you're the dagger next to Cael's. Emerald as well." Jax moved toward the blade like he'd been called. The sapphire pulsed before he touched it. The moment his fingers closed around the hilt, his eyes flooded blue and the sword ignited. Instantly, a vision surfaced in the room.

A Symphony of Frost and Flame

as if she was cutting mere pieces of wood into half. Larice blew past through the men like a gust of wind. She sheathed back her rapier and walked towards the child, leaving the hunters in shock of their broken swords. Gray Viper was an ancient weapon from the far country of the elves in Asveneas. Its blade was made of Elyfean steel, bathed and blessed by the Tree of Genia. Countless wielders had swung it for thousands of years until Riqui the Swordmaster died and passed it unto Larice. Only fools like these three hunters would go against the ancient blade using plain, silver swords.

A slow start, but I understand because the characters and the world needs to be established well. And you did! I'm so so so glad I continued reading since the book really has a very strong middle. So many plot twists! And what I love the most is the magic system! Wew. Great job!

Now this is an epic dragon story I'm looking for! Unlike other stories, you've given your dragons their own culture, government system, livelihood, religion ... we even got a map! You're such an awesome author. PS. I also loved your book Reclaim the Ice Crown. Great job!

The Dawn of the King

The Dawn of the King

he shouted The old man didn’t say a word and through the pump of his staff, there goes a ring with a red-like gem on it… and a sword? The sword was estimated to be around 3 feet long. I believe it is what they call the Joyeuse sword. It was arguably the most powerful sword the man has ever crafted. It was made by Charlemagne, a Frankish king out of gold and gem-encrusted hilt, the blade was forged from the same ore and metal that made Durendal, a sword wielded and is also one of the deadliest in the world. Legend has it, that the sword was forged by the infamous blacksmith legend Galas, who took three years to complete. Legends also stated that it possesses the spirit of the

Moonstone accents adorned his gauntlets, greaves, and chest plate, pulsating with magical energy that resonated. In his hand, he wielded a sword forged from pure moonstone, its blade glowing softly with an inner light. The hilt was embellished with intricate patterns in Phaikón Árgyron resembling celestial constellations, further enhancing its mystical allure. As he brandished the sword, it seemed to hum with power.

Watching the family politics play out in 'House of the Dragon' and reading bits of 'Fire & Blood' has me always drawn to the messy, human side of claims to power — and Joffrey Velaryon is a perfect example of how lineage, rumor, and politics tangle together. In plain terms, Joffrey’s claim to the Iron Throne comes through his mother, Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. Rhaenyra was King Viserys I’s named heir, which put her children — even those carrying the Velaryon name — in the line of succession. So Joffrey isn’t a claimant because he’s a Velaryon by name; he’s a claimant because he’s a grandson of Viserys I via Rhaenyra, and when succession logic is followed patrilineally or by designation, being Rhaenyra’s son makes him a legitimate heir in his faction’s eyes.

If you think about it from a more legalistic or dynastic view, the crucial fact is that Viserys explicitly named Rhaenyra as his heir, which broke with the more traditional preference for male heirs but set a precedent: the crown should pass to her line. That’s the core of Joffrey’s standing. His supporters (and the Velaryons who brought real naval and financial power to the table) could argue that a king’s named heir’s children have a stronger right to the throne than a son born to a different branch. That said, medieval Westerosi-style succession isn’t a clean system — it’s politics dressed in law — and anyone with enough swords and dragons can press a counter-claim, which is precisely what happened when Viserys died and the court split between Rhaenyra’s line and the faction backing Aegon II.

The plot twist that always makes me sigh for these kids is the scandal about legitimacy. Many in court whispered (or outright believed) that Joffrey and his brothers were fathered not by Laenor Velaryon but by Harwin Strong. Whether true or not, those rumors became political ammunition. In a world that prizes bloodlines, questions of bastardy can turn a legally solid claim into something opponents claim is invalid. So while Joffrey’s nominal status as Rhaenyra’s son made him an heir in theory, in practice the whispers cost him political support and moral authority in the eyes of many nobles. Add to that the sheer brutality of the Dance of the Dragons — factions choosing dragons and armies over neat legalities — and you see how fragile a dynastic claim becomes when everyone is ready to wage war.

Personally, I end up rooting for the idea that lineage should be considered honestly and not torn apart by gossip, even if the medieval-style courts in Westeros never behaved that way. Joffrey Velaryon’s claim is honest in the sense of descent through Rhaenyra, but fragile in practice because of scandal and the competing will of powerful players who preferred a male Targaryen like Aegon II. It’s the kind of dynastic tragedy that keeps pulling me back to both the show and the history-book feel of the novels — it’s all so human, so petty, and so heartbreaking at once. If you’re diving into the politics there, keep an eye on how designation versus tradition plays out — that tension is everything in their world.
