Jace Proposes To Clary Novels & Stories

He held out a wooden cup filled with a bubbling red drink. "I’m Jace," he said, tipping his cup toward me. "I’ve been watching you from across the yard and noticed you haven't touched any of the berry ale. You're seriously missing out, Zaria. It’s the best batch we've had all season." "I'm not really much of a drinker, Jace," I said. "Oh, come on, just a little sip," Jace teased, leaning a bit closer with that easy smile. "If you hate it, you can literally pour it right over my head. Deal?"

He kissed it and pulled me toward himself. I took a deep breath and looked at the crowd. My eyes fell on Janet and my stomach turned. She looked like she was about to shift and throw herself at me. “I would like you to meet Madeline Clark, your Luna, and Queen,” Dimitri said as he placed a kiss on the top of my head. The crowd cheered and started clapping. Seeing so many smiling faces helped me relax a little. My eyes fell on Seth and my heart clenched a little. He was smiling at me, but I could see the pain in his eyes.

"Xavier is really excited about the meteor shower tonight, Caleb. I had already promised him that I would watch it with him. "I mean, since the Perseids meteor shower happens every year, we can just come back and watch it together next year, Caleb." I stood with my back to her. I had my hand pressed against the bottom of the bowl, yet I felt no warmth whatsoever. I then said softly, "Alright." Faye breathed a sigh of relief and walked past me, not forgetting to grab a plate of grapes for Xavier on her way. I returned to my room to pack my things after having dinner. I took out the coordinated outfit I had planned to wear when I proposed to Faye under the meteor shower, then threw the engagem

"Besides, she knows we're always messing with people..." Her words, meant to comfort him, were now nails on a chalkboard to Ronan. His mind flashed back to the night before: the cold finality in her eyes as she took off the bracelet, her voice cutting through him as she said, "I will never, ever marry you." Layer upon layer of dread washed over him. He grabbed his coat and started for the door. Clara grabbed him. "Ronan! Where are you going?" Ronan turned his head, his eyes filled with a desperation she had never seen before.

I started picking up the scattered stars one by one, and as I looked closer, I noticed some of them had been carefully opened and then resealed. Curious, I opened one. “Clara, let’s go to the same college, okay?” “Okay.” “Clara, I’ll love you forever. Will you love me too?” “Yes.” “Clara, my heart is failing. I may not be able to stay with you for long.” “You’ll stay with me forever…” As I read through their back-and-forth conversations, my brows furrowed deeper. I kept opening more stars, until I found the one with the proposal.

"We have gone on." The café was quiet, the afternoon sunlight throwing long shadows over the table. Elizabeth sat opposite Clara, who appeared more distant and guarded. She had always been the one who understood the depths of Elizabeth's battle with Alex; today, however, she seemed alien. Nervously scanning the room, Clara inhaled deeply before speaking. Though I didn't want to pull you back into this, I don't believe you know the complete tale. Elizabeth's heart raced. What do you mean?

says Falvio and just like that Daisy was under his spell. "I'll hold you like that," says Daisy and hugs Falvio close to her. Jaques was watching Falvio with Daisy and has a hard expression. He walks away to talk to Magnus and finds him in the study. "As promised, I waited for Maurizio to graduate and after he does, I plan to propose to him," says Jaques, and Magnus nods. "I have one request. I don't want Falvio around me. I know Maurizio wouldn't give him up for adoption so I was thinking of boarding school" says Jaques.

While running I tried to connect my mind link Clarisse, One of the Phis. It didn't take long when I feel her connect to me. 'What is it my Luna.' - Clarisse 'How many kids are there in the orphanage?' - Me 'There are 53 kids at the orphanage Luna and so far we were able to get 15 kids out. We are hiding them in the northern bunker. ' - Clarisse 'Send in 10 Psis for transporting the kids faster. Well meet them there.' - Me 'Okay Luna, be careful' - Clarisse With that I felt the mind link broke.

The question sliced through my haze and for a moment, I forgot why I was here. His magnetic aura was stealing the air from my lungs. But he was waiting. ‘Say something, Claire. Anything!’ I blinked rapidly, my mind scrambling for purchase as coherent thought abandoned me. “Um.. I– I’m proposing to you?” I blurted—the words sounding unsure as they stumbled out of my mouth before I could really stop them. Giancarlo tilted his head, his expression unreadable. “I can see that," he said dryly, his sharp gaze sweeping over me with a flicker of amusement in those ocean eyes.

Latoya suddenly said and I didn't know how to respond to her countering words. “Neither do I, good luck Lucien. At least don't drop his corpse on my doorstep. Come love, we came here to party," Iris said to me and took my hand. I stared behind me to see how Latoya was taking his words but soon realized that I didn't need to. She was already lip locked with Lucien who seemed in an equal hurry to get undressed. The sound of music welcomed us back to the room we were in earlier. “Are we really going to be a part of the mating ceremony?" I asked Iris.
