The books on the shelf were neatly arranged but the frayed edges and the little tears on the bottom of most of the books gave out that they’d been read a couple times. There was a faint knock on door to Jack and Jill's new room. Jack stirred from his rest and stood up to answer it. Standing in front of him was Edward and he had some clothes in his hands. "It's not much, but I found some old clothes at the thrift shop down the street. I know you and Jill don't have much money right now, so I thought I'd grab you two a couple things before your first shift." Edward handed the clothes to Jack. "You didn't have to do that," Jack responded, accepting the clothing from Edward.

Edward merely said this, and Richard knew where to draw the line, so he concluded. "It really is a small world, and these books were also chosen by you," Richard said, remembering that the books Jack was carrying were chosen by the president of the company himself. " All I did was just take a few titles from his bookshelf. " Edward answered with a shrug, but he was really curious to know who the books were for.

The bookshelf was just as tall as Andrew so he could easily access the books there. The bookshelf had all sorts of books, ranging from fictional novels to nonfictional novels, to educational novels and textbooks. Her eyes caught titles like; The Redwall series by Brian Jacques, Caddie Woodlawn by Carol Ryrie Brink, The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros and a lot more. Even the Encyclopedia was in his bookshelf. And there was also some novels on the basis of business and finance. The book the lad was currently reading was The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie.
