She answered, "Lycaon, the son of Pelasgus, the king of Arcadia." Her answer was met with nods of approval from the council and the other competitors. Another girl was asked, "What are the three forms that werewolves can take?" She confidently answered, "The human form, the wolf form, and the hybrid form." The council nodded in agreement, and I could feel my stomach churning with nerves.

It was late at night when they pulled up at the front of the packhouse. Layla was still numb from Jackson’s revelations. Did Jackson mean there was a wolf inside her? This thing that took her over and made her do stupid things? It was like a separate entity, a personality that was the complete opposite of who she was. "It can't be true," she whispered. If Jackson had no explanation, then he had to be wrong. It had to be the baby changing her since Jackson had said it would be a werewolf.

Clara said slowly. "What... What are you talking about.... Ahhhhhhhh!" Joseph shouts dropping his can of beer as he looks at Clara's direction. Jason had lifted his head from the Black sheets to look at the house (Hey My Knightley!) "WOOOF!". "Jason I said not to reveal yourself until I told him everything!" Clara yelled at the wolf. "Jason? As in Elizabeth Snow's kid?! He's that werewolf?!" Joseph stood up searching around the house as if looking for a weapon.

This situation, Adam did not dare to imagine at all. "Brother, you don't have to be afraid, it's me!" Just when Adam didn't know if he should run away or not. A young man, with an angular face, suddenly walked over, used a very friendly look, and greeted him. Although he did not recognize this person's face, Adam's voice was still clearly remembered. He had a lot of minions which he occasionally sent to the Werewolf territory but the Vampires were defeated by the Werewolfs usually because of numbers advantage.

I scanned the trees in front of us and my eyes fell into the grass with rash movements, just near a chir pine tree. “Quinn, East!” I shouted as I felt something from the east running in our direction. Quinn nodded and immediately positioned her bow to release the arrow with poison. With a bolt, Quinn calmly let go of the arrow when a big brown werewolf appeared. This is our first time to see a brown-haired werewolf, most of the hunts we’ve been to have black or grey fur. “Brown?” Rendall asked as we saw the arrow hit its leg and growl in pain.

Alpha Jackson informed her, but Lily smiled at him. "That's okay because I don't want your approval." She told him. She took a deep breath, her eyes focused, her shoulders back, her chin high, "Werewolves have existed since the story of Jesus Christ, the Werewolf King born in the fall of Julius Caesar." She started to recite their history. He was impressed that she managed to learn so much in such a short time. "We don't want to relearn our history." Alpha Derek let out a growl.

"I guess I should tell you how my life was before I came here." "I thought I was their real son. They never told me I was a werewolf. I knew they were vampires but I always thought I was a late vampire. When my 16th birthday came along, I turned into my wolf, Gage. They told me about you guys. They told me how you didn't want to leave me. They even told me about Uncle Parker."

My eyes scanned the area, and that’s when I saw it—a single car, a luxurious jeep parked just outside the gate. Of course, the car, It wasn’t Hunter’s or anyone from our pack. It was one of the older Alphas’ cars, but whose? Curiosity pulled me forward. I stepped through the gates, my gaze locked on the vehicle, and that’s when I saw Jackson standing beside it. He wasn’t alone. Jackson was talking to someone—a figure cloaked in the shadows of the trees. The moment I stepped closer, the figure turned, and our eyes met for a fleeting second before they bolted into the woods. Their speed was inhuman, a blur of movement that only a werewolf could achieve.

Jackson snarled, and shifted. The transformation was brutal and swift. Jackson's human form exploded into that of a massive brown wolf, easily twice the size of most pack members. His eyes glowed with predatory fire as he circled the fighting space, looking for an opening. Larry's shift was different,fluid, graceful, like watching darkness take shape. His wolf was midnight black with silver eyes that gleamed like starlight. He was smaller than Jackson, but what he lacked in size he made up for in speed and intelligence.
