He pulled his lips away, and put my hand back down between us. He then lifted his other arm upwards and looked down at his watch. “I know, you would love to stay here all day with your parents Jane. But, you should get ready. School will be starting soon.” He said, the looked back over at me. “We shouldn’t keep you Jane, your mother and I will head home and let you get ready then.” My father said, his hand still holding mom’s. They stood up from the couch. “Home?” I asked. “Your parents, they have their own home here in the pack. It’s just over there.” Nathan said pointing outside the living room window.

Jake was disappointed and frustrated because he purposely comes to the North West because of the triplets and their mom, but he was unable to see their mom, and when he returned to the hotel, he got an urgent call from his dad, and he needs to return to the North East to handle some businesses, but he couldn't share his problems with anybody, The next morning, Valery and Jake returned to the North East, but Jake was unable to concentrate, and even though he was cold at Valery, he was not touching her like before,

We were all livid when we heard it. Jake lost it when he heard his mother laughing over Willow being lost and snapped her neck with his bare hands. She was a human but so was he so the rest of us were frozen in shock. While we stared on, he pulled out a gun that was loaded with silver and emptied it into his father. Then he turned to us. "Sorry, James" he mumbled and ran out into the night. We haven't seen him since. James looked for a while but eventually gave up, deciding that Jake was better without the pack in his life. James hoped that Jake would find peace in the human world.

“See…she’s f*cking dead. There’s nothing we can do, Sash~” Something beeped and then came the sound of a heartbeat. “We got a pulse…hurry up, get me the…” Without hearing anything else, Jake passed out on the floor, drowning in his memories…drowning in unconsciousness. |-_-| /-_-\ |-_-|

I couldn't bear to see her hurt, to witness her vulnerability in that moment. Without thinking, I grabbed the nearest object, a jar that lay on the nearby table. It’s plain weird. “So, really, Emma knows I’m here and is waiting to lecture me, right? What, were you waiting to run into me and just maneuver me home all along?” I cross my arms over my chest huffily as Jake pulls up the long expanse of driveway to his gorgeous two-story home that practically faces my own.

Jake smirked. ‘Let’s go, Jake, let's go kill those disgusting beings.’ Thunder, Jake’s Wolf said. ‘Don’t worry buddy, we are going there now.’ Thunder liked the sound of that since they took their mate, all, he wanted to do was spill blood. “Get the warriors ready, we leave in twenty minutes, I want us to ambush and kill them all. After that, I am going for London, I will be damned if I let him take my pack after killing my father and kidnapping my mate.”

“I mean really. Like you’re best buds or something.” I shook my head and sighed, trying to lose myself in Rom battling these blobby aliens whose tongues turned into drills that bored into a person’s skull and ate their brains so the aliens could become them. It was a little cruel but as Jake clattered to a stop I wondered if that’s why he didn’t fit in. Maybe he was like one of these aliens. After eating the brains of the “real” Jake Burns a few years ago, he’d never learned how to act like the rest of us.

Jake shrugged,just then someone shouted from afar. “Celinah,oh my gosh” It was Chris,Jake's twin brother who is actually gay .He was carrying two distinctive bags in his hands full of girlie shopping. He dropped the bags on the ground next to Jake and embraced me tightly . “Ohh girl,how have yoh been” He smiled holding my hands,Jake grimaced. “Am fine Chris,I can see you gleaming gal” I taunted,Chris grinned while turning slowly. “You can say that again”
