Jake Long American Dragon Novels & Stories

His diamond eyes eclipsed my height. For a moment, just for a moment, I felt like a dwarf, but his dragon size didn’t deter me. I am the alpha king of the werewolves and lycans. I am more than capable of killing a dragon.

For the elite guard to grace their home meant something monumental was happening—whether a blessing or a curse, she didn't know. Jake stepped forward, bowing low as the commander approached. “Is that her?” the Kingsguard asked, his sharp eyes locking onto Calista. “Yes, Sir Braavos,” Jake replied eagerly. “Her name is Calista Caitlynn. Nineteen, a maiden, and a virgin. I am certain the Alpha will find her suitable.” Sir Braavos signaled his men, and a heavy iron box filled with gold coins was handed over to Jake in exchange for his daughter.

His IR strobe blinked once. “Draxus!” he yelled, then whispered, “Come out, come out, wherever you are.” The Direwolf dropped from above an awning and landed behind a stalled tram. Jake turned, couldn’t see him, and ran west. Not fast. Just fast enough to keep his scent in the air. He ran until he reached a loading bay and took off his goggles. There, he set up a trap for the Direwolf. He ducked under an upper rope, carefully hopped the lower, and slid through under the roller door.

“Yes my king, it's almost done. Just give me a few minutes to set it up and I'll make sure you get first pickings.” Atticus's eyes lit up and he rubbed his hands together. Atticus turned at the sound of the children arriving. Their little voices became louder as they raced into the backyard. A smile spreads across the Dragon King's face when his eyes land on Mahan and Niles. The little 5-year-old Alpha dragon towers over his 3 and 1/2-year-old Omega dragon brother.

Zelda I could feel the tension building in the air as Drake and Jake's growls grew louder and more aggressive. I really don't know why they were growling. Are they dogs? Or wait sorry ignore that question. "Jake, you don't have a chance with her so forget about it," Drake snarled, his face inches from Jake's. "You think you can just waltz back into her life and act like you own her?" Jake's eyes narrowed, and he shot back, "Drake, you don't know that, this is between Zelda and i so back off"

Alpha Kyle's voice drifted into my ears and I couldn't help but shiver. Before I could react, I was taken away and thrown into the dungeon. But then this time, I care less about anything. I was going to escape tonight. I had already decided, I was sure that getting out of the dungeon was going to be a hard thing. Thinking about this, I sat upright as I began to map out a plan. Over the years, I had known the pack like the back of my hand so I had begun formulating a plan. But then my biggest obstacle was how I was going to get out of the dungeon.

“Why are you talking to me about it?” “Because there are bigger fish to fry than Steve Schofield. Jake’s vendetta with the man is personal, but not more personal than the man that originally bought his sister, Chelsea. His name is Devon Longshire. He’s from a very prominent family … untouchable. The only way to stop him is to kill him. I’ve tried to build a case against the man, but he has too many friends in high places. You might want to pass this message along to your boyfriend.”

His pupils grew round and full, like a bird of prey watching a mouse. What was Spencer? What had I gotten myself into? I should have just stayed home and confronted Nolan and my sister. If I had it would suck, but I wouldn’t be about to be possibly murdered by someone who might not be human. A rumbling growl came from deep in Spencer’s chest and he leaned back slightly on his barstool. Watching me with those eerie looking eyes. “I’m a dragon.” The words were raspy and didn’t sound human. It was almost a growl, but not quiet, something animalistic. A warning.

she said that but she didn't want to admit her inability to resist reading the book. It...called to her. She sat on the steps, sword now placed across her knees, as she opened the book. The words spilled into her mind like sunflower seeds. Valia Rostrag. A dragon who was incomplete. Hair black as night, kissed with streaks of impossible green, eyes like oceans that could drown a kingdom.

"Nothing to worry about." "Ok..." Aria breathed in relief then gasped in disbelief as Prime Johansson suddenly burst into flames that raged out getting bigger and bigger then gutted out to reveal a might red dragon, that stretched its wings and beat the air, lifting off with great effort into the sky and letting out a mighty roar. "Bloody hell!" Kahlia exclaimed. "It never gets any less amazing to witness." Abram said, folding his arms with a proud smile. Next was Prime Evans who transformed with a tornado of inky blackness to reveal a huge black dragon that pierced the night with its sub-sonic screech as it lifted into the air and joined the fire dragon in its hovering.
