Novelas y relatos de Jake Sully

"Take them to the car." The two bodyguards pushed them forward. Just then, a voice called out from behind. "Mr. Silva, wait a moment." Jake turned around. Kenneth Rogers, who had just come out of Stanley's private room, stopped him. "Mr. Rogers, hello." "Mr. Hawk would like you to come in and join him for a drink." Jake's face lit up with excitement. An invitation from Stanley was a huge honor. "Great! I'll be right there." Jake casually draped his arm around Wendy's delicate shoulder. "Come on. You'll come with me to raise a glass to Mr. Hawk. Remember to behave yourself."

“He’s different. He’s always been different. I only realized it too late.” “Different how?” “I don’t know how much you know about your son. I don’t want to come between you and him. But I have to tell you that Jake—Jake is…” Jake is what? A murderer. a psychopath. Why couldn’t I get the words out? Mr. Dylan’s eyes were locked on mine, anticipating, waiting patiently. He noticed my hesitation. “Jake is what?” he asked. “He and I were doomed from the beginning,” I breathed. He chuckled. “Maybe some people aren't meant to be together.”

“Want some?” “Yeah, sure.” As they sat at the kitchen table, Noah gestured with a bone. “So, what’s up?” Jake’s face darkened. “Sullivan. He killed someone.” Noah paused mid chewing and then shrugged. “That’s not new for Sullivan.” “He killed a kid. Six years old.” Noah froze. Jake continued, “They say the boy stole something. Like clothes, jewelries. Just a petty thief. He was an orphan. His mother was a drug addict. His father was dead. The kid was a nobody, and Sullivan tore his heart out just like that on the street.”

A thin white smoke began to rise from the wound. A Silver bullet. The wolf let out a guttural growl and fell with a loud thud. I looked up at the shooter. It was one of our pack's soldiers. “I warned you not to come outside,” Kate scolded. “I couldn't leave you out here” The floor was littered with bodies of dead and injured servants. The soldier gestured urgently. “Alpha Lukas sent me to escort you to safety” “He did? Is he alright? What about Micheal?”

I can’t help but smile, knowing that my Beta and best friend is concerned for my safety, despite my being out here with Raul, Dax, Tasha, Channing, Bree, Conan, Theo, Blake and Serafina. “Don’t worry about me. I’ve got some of the most badass wolves around out here with me.” I say, smiling in our mind link. “Are things okay at the pack house?” “Yeah, Zella and Asher are on top of monitoring our patrols and keeping everyone calm here. And Jacob took Delta Lupita with him to the houses to keep an eye on things over there.” Lupita is Jacob’s mate and a tough-as-nails fighter. In fact, had Dax not been interested in the Lead Warrior position with our pack, Lupita would have been my next choice.

~Jake~ My name's Jake Reynolds. I'm forty-two years old, an architect. I design spaces people inhabit. Sarah and I have been married for two years. She's thirty-seven, intelligent as hell, vice president at a firm that eats companies for breakfast. Her job sends her away constantly… conferences, site visits, deals that can't wait. This time, it's a week in Chicago. She leaves tomorrow morning. "Jake, have you seen my passport holder?" Sarah calls from the stairs.

Jake on the other hand was nowhere to be found and there was no way that he could be persecuted for his crimes. Although after Holly gave birth, someone sent a postcard from Jamaica with the initials J.S & C.S. Ryder's theory was that Jake was probably in Jamaica since the initials indicated that it was he who sent the letter. The postcard also contained a short apology to Ryder. When Holly asked who C.S was, Ryder pointed out that it might stand for Chandice Summers, the girl that he had claimed Ryder took from him back when they went on a trip to Jamaica. Jake might have gotten the happily ever after he wanted after all. Although there was no way he was coming back to the United States wit

I nervously giggled. As we watch, the hours go by and wolves are seen guarding the perimeter. I look at one screen and notice those bright silver eyes, the same silver eyes that I had caught watching me shower from in my backyard. Those eyes belong to a bigger wolf than the others. A big, black wolf with silver eyes. “Jade, who is that?” I asked. “Well I guess you wouldn’t know yet, but that’s Alpha Wyatt” Jade replied. “That’s why he’s bigger than the others” I played it off.

Silvercloud is an impressive wolf, no matter his age. The kid’s undoubtedly more intelligent than me. Hell, he’s even more brilliant than Chuck and John too. For fucks sake, he already has a master’s degree in engineering. Fuck I don’t even have a bachelor’s degree. This makes him the perfect person to help me with what I’m thinking. “I need you to do some things for me. Things you aren’t to tell John or Chuck about,” I stated. I love my brother, and Chuck’s my best friend, but neither would approve of what I have planned and would try to talk me out of it.

Moore is going to let them go. 'As for Jake...' Jude's eyes twinkled, 'It depends on whether he's smart or not.' Jude took Jake upstairs. Skyler was drinking his tea in peace. Jake hurried up to Skyler and pleaded, "Mr. Moore, I'll tell you everything I know. Don't kill me, okay?" Skyler glanced at Jake and grunted, "Tell me what you know." Jake took a deep breath and then confessed. "Actually, I don't have a grudge against your wife. Someone paid me to do that..."
