Katniss: “Stop it! Please, stop it!” I screamed hearing my voice crack, pleading with them to release James to us . “James, no!” I could only scream in an effort and with a lifted head, and for a second he looked at me. He tried to scream, to call his baby girl for help but he couldn't speak he felt as if someone was suffocating her but he couldn't move his body to save himself. No voice was coming out of his mouth, he couldn't open his eyes, he tried to look for Inaayat but couldn't find her hand. Tears started to fall out of his eyes continuously, he felt as is his soul was leaving his body, death was right in front of him. He knew something was wrong and he wanted to talk to him baby girl for the last time, he wanted to tell her how much he loved him and cares for him even if he couldn't save her from the monsters he was feeding under his roof.

The brother let out a heart-wrenching wail that pierced through the tension like glass shattering. James lowered his weapon slowly, surveying the chaos he had just unleashed with an unsettling calmness. “This is what happens when you fail me,” he said coldly, turning away from the scene as if it were nothing more than an inconvenience.
