Despite being centuries old, he still looked impossibly young like he was barely fifty.

The stench had reached its limit, and then I saw them. In the close distance to the walls stood Galathor and Zephyr, Dragon King and Queen of the Percaria. Their gazes strayed not away from me as I approached them. I used all the willpower I could muster to calm down my raging beast. And when I reached them, they each brandished a smile of malice. Their royal garments, red like the blood of victims they had slaughtered in the past, sparkled under the moonlight. My soul lit up with growing fire.

The dragons are vital to the balance of our world. Without them, chaos will reign.”

The king grunted noncommittedly. "You know dear, a dragon would be quite an asset to our army," Ishild said quietly, her voice whispering across the room. The king turned a curious glance at her. "I will not use my son as a pawn," the king growled back at her, the first spark of emotion showing in his voice. She smirked.
