We pulled up the witness list on the screen. The entries were terse: anonymous courier, maintenance worker, trustee office assistant, former courier driver, Harrow. Each entry had dates and a shorthand note: payphone code, dock three, van description.
“Which one do you want to start with?” Ms. Alvarez asked.
“I want Janet first,” I said. “She is fragile and she trusted us. We need to prepare her so she does not get crushed.”
