“What’s going on?” It was Maverick who answered after a minute. “Long story short, Dr. Keys is the assassin. He does research for Jonathan Adams in Washington. He was at that mine.” He pointed to the blueprint, “and found the Ruby that you stole back from Jared. It all started with Dr. Keys finding it and Jonathan took it for his own. Dr. Keys hired Jared to steal it back and then Jonathan hired you to steal it from Jared. That left Jared fucked from Dr. Keys so he decided to get back at everyone. For now, protect your family Jared, we have trackers after him, but we don’t know what kind of jump he had on us,” Ryan says as he quickly hangs up.
