132. Misunderstanding cleared Zach's POV When I stirred to consciousness, a pang of pain shot through my chest. I hissed and remained still until the pain reduced. Sucking in a deep gulp of oxygen, I tried to get up. Surprise held me immobile as my nostrils flared with Jade's alluring scent and my eyes stalled on her beautiful face. She was sleeping soundly with her head resting on her hand that was put on the edge of the bed I was spread over. I blinked my eyes and moved my aching shoulder. The electrocuting pain confirmed that I was not dreaming.

It turned out that Jason is in a very good mood, too good that I am sitting on the bed with him and my back is resting on his chest. He seems to be very relaxed and happy, too relaxed that he decided to read a book with me. And shockingly it was his idea. I didn’t even plan to read a novel today but since Jason wanted to read a novel with me, I will read it with him. I flip through the pages and softly gasped at a glance at the sentence. This book got me thinking hard, seriously, the suspense, drama, and a whole new level of emotions and love. Damn! I love this book. I have been looking for another interesting book since the time I finished that last one and I guess I did.

Jason said looking at her. "No I won't, I'm happy, really happy". She smiled noticing they had reached the stop. A few people sat at the bus stop waiting while some stood. They joined the crowd waiting for the bus. "You stay at canal street?" Jason asked. "Yes, You?". Grace asked him. "I'm a student of NYU, so I stay in a hostel." "Oh!, what do you study?". Grace asked now intrigued at the sudden information. "Designing, but I model for a living". Jason said handing her the cookies. She looked confused before noticing the arrival of the bus.
