It was as if a fairy godmother had worked her magic, transforming the unassuming maid into a stunning Cinderella. I like how he makes me feel protected and safe and most especially, I like how he makes my wolf come alive. Hours later, Angel had slept off on the couch and I had been busy looking though the picture frames and portraits on the walls of the living room. From the photos, I discovered Jasper had an active life. One picture told me he skis, and another revealed he was a mountain climber and scuba diver. Another set of picture revealed him speaking at events and taking pictures with influential people. It really dawned on me how very important and respected Jasper was in the society. I began to feel the weight of doubt creep in. How can someone like me stand beside him and call myself his Luna?

I put down the cat and looked up. It was Jasper, the one that Kai mentioned in our first meeting. He's a fifteen year old boy with ginger hair and brown eyes and he's kinda like the reliable older brother for all of the children here. He's also very diligent and quiet a smart guy. His hands were covered with dirt, as if he had just finished some field work. Having seen the beauty of the main lead too much, seeing his plain face made me feel at ease.

He’s wearing gray sweatpants that have a coffee stain on the thigh, his hair is standing on end, and his eyes are puffy behind a pair of glasses that are crooked on his nose. Now he’s hot in a sexy-nerd way, and I want to tug those spectacles off his gorgeous face and kiss him. “It’s done,” he says before I have a chance to greet him. I hold up my bakery bag. “I brought breakfast.”

“You still didn’t answer my question.” Jasper chuckled as he sat beside me while holding the cup of hot cocoa in his hand. “I don’t know. I just thought that I’d bring you to a place that makes me happy, thinking that it might make you happy too.” I saw how his face turned red. “I might not look like it, but I’m simple-minded.” He sure is right with the part that Jasper doesn’t look like a simple-minded guy. Since I was used to him being a narcissist, I thought he was more complicated than this. “You like skating?” I asked.

Charlotte was stunned, struggling to process everything she had just heard. On the surface, Mr. Jasper seemed like a refined, polite, and responsible man—someone who treated everyone with warmth and respect. But beneath that polished exterior, he was the complete opposite. He was a man who betrayed his family, a man who couldn’t keep his desires in check, a complete scumbag.

“Is Grandmother about? You want to watch out for those teeth.” Gloria creased up and I realised I may have misjudged her. “He got you there, Potter,” she said. I spotted his name badge then. “Abel C Potter,” it read. “Is your middle name Clay?” I asked. And off she went again. It must be some kind of cosmic joke, because he didn’t strike me as either competent or manually dexterous. “Cornelius,” he admitted, fiddling with the blue pen in the top pocket of his otherwise pristine lab coat.

As the younger chief of Village Pott, Jagger wanted to meet her. He wanted to see what kind of woman could defeat the entire Village Pott. “Oh? Is there such a strange woman? Since I’m free today, I will accompany you to see if what your grandfather said is real or exaggerated,” Jagger said with interest. “Huh? Master Jagger, you want to go with me? I don’t think it’s a good idea. The beauty standards of my grandfather’s generation are different from ours. Don’t dirty your eyes. I can just go back and take a look at her myself,” Maverick persuaded.

He said with a wide smile before he walked away. Just as I shut the door, I heard a loud shout that sounded like ‘yes!’ I chuckled and shook my head, and headed back to Justine's office. This is definitely going to be interesting, Jasper is certainly a cute young man, but there is something in his character that appeals to me. He is like a wild horse you need to train to march and to stop at the slightest command. His rebellious and unruly temper will surely be something. ****** Jasper POV. “C..can you please repeat, sir?”
