Jasper sat upright next to Steven, looking unperturbed. Yet deep within, he held immense admiration for the man beside him. Born into nobility, Jasper was naturally aloof, and Steven's humility and poise were qualities Jasper rarely encountered, even among the elite circles. Only a select few had ever earned his respect. If he managed to navigate this ordeal and return safely to the Beckett Group, he already resolved to approach Steven personally. He would offer Steven the position of the company's legal advisor, with remuneration entirely at Steven's discretion—a gesture of Jasper's utmost sincerity.

Madam Haydey asked. "Oh... I'm her colleague," Jasper explained. "Oh. This is Stella's pot. Her cooking is very delicious. If anyone marries her, he will definitely be happy. Please give this to her and thank her for me," Haydey said. Jasper took the pot that Haydey handed over to him. He then turned around and went to the kitchen. Stella was still busy cooking, taking care of the dishes in an orderly manner. It was exactly the same as what he remembered.

Based on the label, it was one of Martina’s creations. “I admit, I may have had a bit too much fun. Fell asleep in one of those cute little alcove mattresses, at least until I nearly drowned.” “Miss Vega,” Jester called out as he approached. “Is everything alright?”

“Unless you are, or you become, a celestial being, it’s not that great. Trust me, we’ll be better off here on earth.” “I guess we have to take your word for it,” Piper says with a shrug. They don’t know my whole story, about being trapped in the celestial realm under the Moon Rabbit’s control for hundreds of years, and then captured again alongside Sterling. But they do seem to trust me, so they drop the issue. However, their trust for me clearly doesn’t extend to Jasper. When he arrives on the beach, his sandy brown hair combed back, wearing a plain pair of jeans and a thermal workout shirt, their voices go quiet and their eyes narrow.

He casually asked, "Are you feeling better?" Jasper gave a slight smile, his gaze soft. "Mm, thanks to you, I’m much better." Leon didn't respond too much to this. After all, with someone like Jasper, it was hard to tell where truth ended and half-truths began—just take it for what it was. "I heard you've been spending time with Iris recently. Are you two working on potions?" This took Leon by surprise. Jasper seemed well-informed. "Yeah, I'm trained in medicine," he replied flatly. “In my world.”

By the time they’d watched a weaver working on a tapestry, seen a glassblower create a rose and green swirled goblet, and witnessed a potter at her wheel, Keilor was looking rather peaked, though he never said a word. Taking pity on him, Jasmine suggested, “Why don’t we take a break? I’m starving.”

"Hey, Karen. Looking amazing today as always." Karen raised her head from her computer to see Jasper. Jasper was a good friend of hers, they had joined the company at about the same time. "Thank you Jasper." Karen replied. "Thank you for the coffee." "It's nothing." Karen replied and turned on her computer. "I have something to tell you after work, is that okay by you?" Karen smiled knowingly. "You found a new rare ceramic doll." Jasper looked lost for a while then laughed. "Oh no no. It's not that."

The slow grin stayed on his face as he looked at the watch, “Now you have five minutes. If you cannot come out yourself, I can give you a helping hand” I looked at his freshly ironed clothes which looked crisp and clean. “Ohh, your highness would not want wrinkles or splashes of this scented and a little bit murky water on his pristine clothes. Nor would he want to appear all soggy and wet to the others” Jasper reached the small pool and lowered himself, squatting down as he looked at me. “Ohh, but you are already wet” He said and the pun was not lost on me. I did not shiver and simply placed my hands on my waist on either side, huffing out like a gorilla.

Madam Kayla wouldn't be pleased when she found both the cakes and the napkin were gone or maybe she'd never notice, neither bothered her so much at that moment. She set the napkin filled with cakes on her lap and gently unwrapped it, revealing what would be their meal. Jasper didn't take long and walked back into the clearing, bottle in hand. She had a moment, where she was stunned by how handsome he truly was, all ruddy and radiant, with fiery gray eyes, and shoulder length raven hair. He wore a white tunic with breeches and on his back he carried a sword that was in its scabbard.

God, I love these two. I tucked her in and Tara was asleep ten minutes into the storytime, that's when I left her and took the baby monitor with me. When I entered the bedroom, Jasper was sitting in his grey sweatpants and nothing else. He was resting his back on the headboard while typing away on his laptop. The man looked buff for a paralegal, hell...even for a criminal lawyer. I realized that still, after all of these months, I can't get enough of his body.
