said Everett, already ready with his sword but a hand blocked him. "I didn't think you still remember me, Everett," said Ruby, smiling faintly then took out a shiny dagger that looked extraordinarily sharp. It had the scent of blue posion ivy flowers mixed with blood. Everett was surprised and could feel the scent of Amber from the dagger. “What have you done to Amber? How dare you hurt her!” Everett snapped, very angry and wanting to attack Ruby right now. "Don't worry, I just want to play for a while with my friends." Ruby's dark brown irises turned blood red. A crooked smile was etched on her thin lips.

Ruby continued, her voice growing thicker with emotion. Isla could see the tears welling up in Ruby’s eyes, and a wave of compassion washed over her. She quickly looked away, not wanting to catch the same vulnerability that Ruby seemed to be struggling with. The raw honesty in Ruby’s words struck Isla deeply. It wasn’t just about the past misunderstandings—it was about the acknowledgment of how much those judgments had affected Isla, and the pain that came with recognizing it. Eve asked. “Yes,” Ruby nodded with a smile. Eve's eyes trained on her friend, she had cut her long jet black hair short to shoulder length level but apart from that she still looked the same, especially her brown eyes, they still had a little spark of light in them regardless of what she's been through. Suddenly, her eyes moved away from Ruby and landed on Zayn, who was preparing to leave. Their eyes met- “Who're you staring at?” Ruby asked, taking a sip from her champagne.

“Look, I—” “Ten rubies.” Hayate looked at Jai. “Can you do it for ten rubies?” Jai could see Hayate bit his lips, seemingly thinking, and he guessed that he might already have hit a button there. Surely he can’t refuse ten rubies, can he? One ruby equals a thousand gold after all. And a thousand gold equals a thousand silver, and a thousand silver equals a thousand copper. It’s not hard to understand how much money he just offered, and he could see Hayate was considering it. Because the man was looking at Jai up and down, as if judging how can a guy like him could pay that much money.

Ruby didn’t notice anything unusual about Renee’s demeanor. She pulled out her phone and said excitedly, “Look, we took so many photos! I’m thinking of using some of them for the engagement party and wedding. Can you help me pick a few?” Renee glanced at Ruby’s phone. The photos of Ruby and Carl, both smiling brightly, felt like tiny stabs. Ruby, a young woman nurtured by love and privilege, carried an effortless elegance. Her joy seemed pure and contagious. Her smile was magnetic, lighting up every photo.

Tears stung her blue eyes. "There's nothing you can do to change my mind." "And what if I do one of these days?" "What?" "I will make you change your mind one day." "How? When you got nothing compared to Samantha." "I'm Ruby Scarlet. I'm ten times better than Samantha. No. I'm a million times better than her."

Ruby insisted, her hand trembling as she pointed a gun in my direction. "Trust me. I can handle this. Go home and rest easy, knowing that you'll reign by my side as the Draco's wife," Xavier reassured her, a sinister gleam in his eyes as he stared at me with unsettling intensity. "That's all I've ever wanted. And if Xander can't give me that, then I don't care if he dies," Ruby declared, her voice tinged with vindictive satisfaction as she embraced Xavier before departing. As the door closed behind her, Xavier turned to me, his gaze piercing through me with chilling intensity.

Slowly, she became immersed in the intimacy and forgot about the woman who could hear their voices from outside. “Is she purposely instigating me?” Ruby grumbled as she crossed her arms in front of her chest. Her face contorted in disgust every time Amber's moans caught her ear. "But it's okay. Have fun while you still can. I'll give you leeway." Smirking, Ruby glanced at the photo in her hand. She and Adam who were only covered by a blanket looked very cute there. The man was clearly reluctant to loosen the hug. “Let's see if the excitement is still there when my Moonstone returns.”
