" Your entire family was murdered, so I was told. His assistant killed them." A tear dropped, but I pressed my lips from sobbing as anger threatened to engulf me. " Yes." I choked out. " Bastard..." He muttered. " Gave me that job but I refused." I glanced at him, my anger forgotten. " He did? " " Yes... Was an amateur then." He stared at me. " Why are you here then?" " I was running away from him. He found me out and tried to kill me." I began. " I fell into the river in hopes of drowning myself but Jeff saved my life."

Jack took a breath. Michael snorted, “You saw her covered in blood... She turned and lost control, she took our parents by surprise and slaughtered them... she's a murderer.” Michael looked from Alpha Luca to Jack. Jack shook his head, “I saw her first turn, it was slow and painful. She came to me three months after our parents died. She was pale and sweating, she started convulsing and I knew. I knew she'd been telling the truth. I locked her up in the cellar and stayed with her for the change. I told you all this the next morning!” Jack glowered at the four stood on the other side of the kitchen.

She had, after all, envisioned herself to be here in this very same place a million times before if she were to succeed with her plan of killing her parents. This was therefore a milestone in her life! The thought of her ‘comforter’ or ‘savior’ did pop up in her mind and although there was little dismay she had never entirely trusted him to come get her anyway. Who in their right mind would risk getting caught with the charges of murder when they had nothing to do with it? She would have, if given the opportunity but sure not everybody had her kind of fun in their mind as a pastime or hobby. But after having killed two people she realized that it was more fun than she had initially thought.

Sean asked. "I said it was Colonel Zinn," Diego replied. "Good," Sean said. This approach spared him the trouble of lengthy explanations. After all, he preferred to keep his involvement with Melania and Blake to a minimum. "What about that guy? Has he confessed everything?" Sean cut to the chase. Since Diego had called him, it meant that the interrogation was wrapping up. "He spilled everything," Diego reported. "His name's Jeff, and he's a mercenary out of Wysteria. He was hired this time by a woman named 'Ms. J' to assassinate Blake in Skye City."

Jake Jefferson’s body had been disposed of. Poison had gotten creative and Jake knew that he’d never be found. Maybe there was something wrong with him, because he didn’t care, not that his brother was dead or that his parents would never have closure. Jefferson had been delusional. He’d never been the golden boy, it had always been Jefferson. His mother didn’t even remember his favorite meal, but like all things from his past, he simply put it out of his mind and carried on with his life.

"It was her! She used your phone to reverse the money that was supposed to save my father's life! She was the one who got my father beaten to death! "And you, Jeff! What were you doing at the time? You were taking pictures with this murderer! You shameless pair of adulterers should both pay for my father's life!!!" My scream exploded through the ballroom like a bomb. Jeff's face instantly turned deathly pale. He stared at me, and for the very first time, panic appeared in his eyes. "Carol! Shut up!" He lunged toward me, trying to cover my mouth, but I shoved him away violently.

His eyes were wild with panic, but it was the guilt that shone through the most. Wynnie had enough of his excuses. She presented the proof of Jeff's recent reckless real estate and stock market ventures, all based on his foreknowledge from a previous life. Anyone would be hard-pressed to deny he had such memories. "You faked your own death in your previous life, letting us all believe Kelvin was your killer. We despised him because of you! Now, you've chased him away on purpose, Jeff! He's been paying for your mistakes for over ten years. Do you even have a heart?!"
