Jenny, my neighbor asked as she walked up the staircase a few seconds later, curious about my goofy smile. “Yeah, I’m fantastic!” I responded enthusiastically as I moved away from my door to let her into my apartment. “Does this weird smiling Joshua I have never seen before have to do with Olivia who I just passed on the staircase?” she asked sarcastically as she opened up her medical bag on my counter. My shoulders shrugged casually. “Maybe…”. “Who is she to you anyway?” Jenny asked as she gently knocked my head with a bundle of cotton gauze, trying to knock me out of my daze.

Ryan and I looked at her with open mouths, and we looked at each other before we burst into laughter. "You," I said to Jenny, and started tickling her. She started jumping on the bed, trying to get away from me. "Wait... I'm also coming" Ryan joined us and started tickling Jenny, making her laugh. We both smiled seeing her smile. She is the source of our happiness. "Ohh, please stop. Please." Jenny screamed while laughing. We stopped... Jenny smiled and hugged me. "I love Mommy the most," she said and then indicated for Ryan to come closer. Ryan scrunched his eyebrows and moved closer to her. We both moved closer to her, thinking she had a secret to tell, but she surprised us when she hugged

I blurted out after everything she said to me. I bit my lower lip when her head raised to me. She smiled at what I said. I also didn't know that things would not be as easy. I just want to change the atmosphere and I guess I did. Seeing Jenny smiling made me happy, too. Not for me but for her.

she explained in a low tone then sighed. "I know, but I don't like his smile. He even looks like a playboy," Jason continued then followed his words with a weak laugh. "A thief is angry with his own shadow," Jenny said, unable to stop laughing afterward. "I am not a playboy, for your information," Jason said when he got what she meant. Jenny's eyes rolled at what she heard and then her smile widened which eventually led to a weak laugh. "Really? It looks like just the other day another woman approached me, asking for your number," she replied.

She tipped her chin up only to see the fresh tears brimming up Jenny's eyes. "The trouble I carry with me in everybody's life aches my heart. Not even a single person associated with me is happy, Emma, tell me how I will ever put on a genuine smile." Jenny turned utterly emotional, letting the pain come through her tears. She lowered her lashes, and let the tears roll down her cheeks while she recalled her sufferings.

Anyone who saw her would think she was going crazy, she took a glance at her sister, hoping she would feel pity for her, but a devilish smile curled at the corner of her lips. A victorious smile played on the lips of Jenny Cole, everything was going according to as planned, she thought.

She nearly stumbled over in disbelief. Jenny looked up from the table as Nancy took a sip from her straw. "Come join us, Nancy," she gestured warmly. "Look at what we've been working on today." Jenny flashed a bright smile, wearing a pale yellow sundress paired with her signature Mary Janes. Her long golden hair cascaded freely, and her bright blue eyes sparkled with delight. Nancy took a seat across from them, curiosity evident on her face. Jenny nudged a few puzzle pieces toward Nancy, and soon the three of them became engrossed in the activity.

Rosie expertly covered the shock on her face with a faux smile. Her expression screamed "You blood sucking miserable heart wrenching dude. I'll kill you!" In a very palatable way. "It's been soo long..." Jenny blushed, while enfolding him in a bear hug "I thought you went back to Britain."

I muttered with a sad smile. "But not from us... no matter what happens, we'll always be here for you." Savannah whispered as she gave me a reassuring smile. "I'm so glad you've finally cut ties with those toxic influences. Now my baby is free to be whoever and do whatever she wants!!" Jenny screamed out happily, to probably lighten the mood and it worked. Just then, the TV in front of us was turned on and someone familiar came on screen immediately. "Isn't that Liam?" Jenny asked in surprise.

She holds a flower under my nose and continues to tickle me with it. "Atchoo. Stop that," I say as my nose starts to run. "Works every time," the girl says with a smirk. "What are you doing here?" I ask her clearly irritated and angry that she disturbed my sleep. "I should be asking you that?" She says with a frown. "I haven't seen you around here though. You must be new. I'm sure you are," she squints at me. "Hi, I'm Geneva Vanderbilt. What's your name?" She says cheerily.
