I wave at her as I rush out of the kitchen before she asks me to spend time with her another day. I normally find the gym empty when I come down, but today Santino is around, and he is lifting some weights, as if he even needs to. His body is already in perfect shape, and the weights must weigh like paper to him. Besides that, he does look hot in black gym shorts and a black vest that shows off the large muscles on his arms. I wet my lips and averted my eyes instantly. I know he has noticed me staring, he notices everything; he just chooses what topic to speak about.

—Jeremy— Jason Bennett, I can remember the last time I was called that name and it was a very long time ago. I've buried that scared little boy for a while now. I'm Jeremy Gilbert and the only two people other than me that know my true identity are Elijah and Elena and they would never betray me, so who exactly is this personal investigator? Who is he working for? And how was he able to find out my true Identity?

The longbarreled weapon had the initials 'G' written in gold. And the only ones who produced weapons with those initials were Genevieve's family. Alpha Darren also knew that the Genevieve family owned a gun with those initials because during the banquet that time, he saw Miranda pocketing a small knife with the same initials. Not only that, Alpha Darren had also seen the longbarreled gun being carried by Frank while he was at work. So the evidence was strong enough to show that Frank Genevieve was the perpetrator of Alpha Stevan's father's murder.

Gilbert sat slumped on the ground, a complete wreck, shaking uncontrollably. The coworkers around him glared at him, as if they wanted to tear him apart alive. "This is all your fault, Gilbert! You just had to try that eyes-closed nonsense! Look at us now. The secondary detonation is active. None of us is getting out!" "Just wait! General Webb's going to send every one of us to court-martial!" Gilbert's eyes darted wildly through the crowd. The moment he saw me, a spark of hope flared in his eyes, as if he had grabbed onto his last lifeline.

" We......We didn't ! You are the royal doctor of England . How can anyone forget about you Gilbert ?! In this trip , if someone gets hurt the only one who can heal that person is you . " said leader Alan . " Of course ! You are the most skilled doctor in all of our kingdom . " said Emily with a smile . " Thank you for your compliments but the fact that you youngsters actually forgot about me makes me feel hurt . " said doctor Gilbert . Doctor Gilbert looked at them with a sad expression . Emily and leader Alan , didn't know what to do when they saw him sad . At that moment his stomach made some noise and doctor Gilbert looked at the table in front of him .

Emily “Do you, Emily Mitchell, take Tyler Slate as your lawfully wedded husband and mate? Do you promise to cherish him, honor him, and help him thrive as the beta of our pack, so help our goddess?” our lead elder spoke, making my eyes water as he continued to resight. Tyler’s eyes sparkled, a stray tear falling down his cheek and smile from ear to ear. “I do!” I say, making him choke up a bit. He sighed, trying to contain his tears. I can't say the same about myself; happy tears fell like waterfalls.

Gilbert replied. “I know. I know I didn’t tell anyone anything about the names, and that I can only vouch for myself, and I don’t have any proof to show you that it’s true. But also, I don’t believe Darrion would do that although I haven’t asked him. That’s why I want to go see it by myself. To see if it’s true.” Gilbert sighed through his nose. “I’ll hold on to your words just now. But be warned, I’m not weak.”

“Remi! I found him!” “Who Jade?” “My mate! It’s Beta Taylor Williams!” “Is that a good thing?” “Yes! He’s fucking hot!” Jade laughed. “I’m happy for you both Jade!” Screaming over the music. Taylor always seemed nice. He was very tall, not as tall as Alpha Wyatt but close. He has teal eyes and really blonde hair. Jade found her mate and he’s good looking an nice, so I’m relieved she was blessed by the moon goddess. Jade is an Omega, so his rank is a good thing as well for Jade. I hope my mate is kind and handsome as well. Whenever I do find him, if I get lucky soon after I turn 18.

"But we can celebrate. I'm supposed to have dinner with my dad tonight. Might as well get his approval anyway, although I have no doubt that he will be thrilled. He likes you, Penny. We will all go out for dinner. Penny....?" "Yes, Jeremy?" "I love you so much, amazingly, frighteningly much" he said. Penny's last doubt vanished. Now at last, she had made up her mind. ---------------------- "I couldn't be more delighted" said Mr Gilbert, his kind blue eyes so amazingly like his son's meeting Penny's expectant gaze. "It's high time that over grown school boy of mine found himself a nice girl to steady himself a bit" "Now, dad...." Jeremy began, but Mr Gilbert interrupted, his eyes twinkling.

“You’ve got a point. When we get back tomorrow, I’m making you watch serial killer docos with me, before we shower. So we’re all bloody ‘n’ stuff. It’ll make us feel a part of the show.” I plastered a look of horror on my face. “As the victims or the killers?” “The killers, obviously.” I took a mental note to get Dean checked by a psychiatrist after this was all over. As usual, Julius was brutal, his commitment to the fight as real as if Dean or I were rogue’s trespassing on his land. As the hours went by, the banter between Dean and I faded until the only sounds to be heard in the gym was our laboured breath and the odd fist connecting with slippery flesh. By the end we had fallen into a rh
