"Thank you, Jett." The meeting came to an end, and Jake and I took our leave. I only had one thing in mind when we ran into the Night Storm sometime later. A phone call that I must make immediately. My cellphone was in my jacket, hanging on a palm kernel tree. I quickly went for it, ignoring Jake, who waited with one hand on his waist. I dialed the number, and the older male picked on the first ring but didn't speak. "Hello, priest." He heaved a deep sigh before replying, "Finally, you call."

I feel tears building and swallow hard pushing them back. “Could you explain it more?” Cain asked with a tone of understanding in his voice. His voice sounding softer than I had heard it before. “The first of the sounds was the calling, it meant that I needed to follow, there was somewhere I had to be or help, in a way,” I shrugged. “The others are more complicated.” “Last night?”

I didn't want my name tainted with such. "Mm..." I scratched my chin and acted concerned at his words. As soon as I lifted my eyes, Joseph signaled for me with my phone and I beckoned for him to come closer with my fingers. "You have a text from a number I don't recognize." he said. He was leaning against my shoulder and speaking in low voice. "Let me see the text." He gave me the phone and I recognized the number immediately. There was only two words on the text message: 'Send Calvary.'

He immediately looked at who was calling and a wide smile immediately drew on his face. "Excuse me for a moment. I have to take this call," Marky turned to Jacob and then he answered the call. "I've been waiting for your call, Divine Rogers. It's good that you already called," Marky said with a smile on his face.

"Why was he not picking up my call? ",Bella asked, trying to call Christian again and again, getting pissed. She tried to call him again, testing her luck one time more when she dialed his number and it started ringing again. On the other side, Samson walked towards his bed where Christian's mobile was ringing continuously. He was going to receive his call on his behalf when, Christian screamed from behind out of nowhere, shifting Samson's attention to him only. "Don't receive it.",He ordered, screaming at him.

A deep voice ordered from the other side and then the line went dead. The hairs on the back of Jes's neck raise~ Something was not right. She knew the person who had called her was the CEO Raphael Andrew. Throughout the day he had called Jes and instructed her what she had to do next but not even once he had called her to his office. Jes can't shrug off the feeling that the voice was very familiar as if she had heard this voice before... Jes had not even been introduced to Raphael Andrew when an employee had given her tour of the floor where she was going to work.

The screen showed the name of "Peter" At first, after seeing the name, I wanted to press the button Max had described. But I became curious about why the two of them were communicating with a phone like this. So I answered the call. But I remained silent, not speaking. “Alpha Max, we are ready to move now to transport J. If you give the order, we will move right now.” J? Was that…. Jupiter?

Chapter 9 The summoning… Father Elias’ POV The Bishop called me at exactly eleven forty-five pm. No pleasantries, no greetings, just an address of the old stone chapel on the edge of the grounds close to the riverbank and three words: “She’s violent tonight.” I grabbed my keys and dashed outside, ignoring the rain that fell heavily like it was about to tear the earth apart. With this level of rain, one would've believed that human existence was being wiped out.

It didn’t seem real. It had been years and I was just seeing this footage for the first time. “Jesus,” I whispered. My voice cracked and I shoved the phone back across the table. My hands trembled. I rubbed my face, trying to hold myself together, but the tears were already there. Angry hot tears. Raphael rested a hand on my arm. “We looked into it. The call that brought him there wasn’t random. He was lured.” My throat burned. “By who?”

The heat crawled up my spine like something waking inside me. Then I heard him. Malik. They think they can wash me out of you. Let’s show them who you belong to. The shadows in the corners of the room stretched longer, darker. The gospel track twisted, voices dragging slow like syrup. Aunt Dee took one trembling step closer. “Jesus, cover this child—” The bottle shattered in her hand. Glass and oil spilled across the floor. The scent of anointing filled the room—sweet, heavy, choking. And then he was there.
