Lawson’s POV My eyes are on my stepdaughter’s dripping body… Not her big breasts pumping out of the towel so much that they nearly pour out. Or the soft mounds of her ass barely covered by the small towel. Nor her sexy long legs dripping with beads of warm water. But her feet… ‘Holy fuck.’ I shut my eyes, registering the image of her golden feet. She’s got a fire body and the feet of a goddess. Those feet are small, sculpted perfection. Elegant. Her red sinful gel polish, shiny on her small toes that are spaced delicately.

After that, it was back in front of me. “You’re missing something,” he said; in his hand was a bright blue box at the top of the lid that told Stuart Weitzman, and I knew this was another expensive item. I opened the box cover, glaring at a pair of beautiful white stilettos studded with jewels on the surface of the small straps inside the box. He then took the expensive thing out of the box, told me to sit on the dresser chair, and helped me put it on. He smiled at my feet, wearing the thing, then looked at me.

She has our matching earrings on, her necklace with her rings on it, and the diamond anklet I gave her with black stilettos. I remember when we bought the earrings, she was getting Stephany’s ears pierced and wanted genuine fourteen karat gold and diamond earrings for her to wear because that’s her birthstone. I happened to be leaning on a case that had wedding sets in it, and saw the odd shape the diamond earrings were cut in! Amory offered to go half on it with me, since they wouldn’t sell me just the one.

I stand straight, strike half a power pose, and I will confidence into my liquid stomach. I can do this. “Car’s waiting downstairs Scarlett. Good luck!” I roll my eyes at the mischief in Danis’s tone and make my way out of the room. The guards at the head of the stairs share raised eyebrows when they see me. I nod as a greeting and I walk past them and down the stairs. My heels are simple, not red Louboutins or green Prada. It has a simple strap to hold my toes in place and little to no extra covering. The diamond stem heel gives me a feeling of exclusivity and femininity.

I giggle. “It’s how rubies refract light. Some say it looks like they are alive.” I smile and walk over to put on my shoes. I would typically pair a dress like this with heels, but I’m not attempting them right now. I’m just thankful that I was able to find some great flat sandals covered in rhinestones. One of the straps is a little loose, but I won’t be walking around that much. “Amelie, are you and Celeste ready?” Gideon bond-links me.

They both turned to leave, leaving the women on their own. Before they entered the house, Jade politely brushed the bottoms of her feet until she had wiped all the grit clean. She then trailed behind the woman, noting to herself that she wouldn't prefer to walk around barefoot in the future. It hadn't mattered that she was no longer on the beach; every grain of sand seemed to have followed her, sticking to the soles of her feet as she stepped across the tiled floor. Of course, it came with the territory; staying right on the shore meant it would be impossible to keep the sand away, and so she didn't mention it, not wanting to seem rude.

“Oh Jade! The shoe you got me is so pretty” I gushed at the shoe Jade bought for me. It was transparent and plain at the top but the real design and beauty was on the heel. It had diamond butterflies engraved on the heel making it look so spectacular. “I almost got you some black stiletto. Just as I was about paying for them I saw this shoe sparkle in the corner. Once I looked at it I saw you.” Jade grinned. “My feet will surely be on vogue's front page by Sunday!” I squealed excitedly.

“Mademoiselle, I brought the stilettos you ordered me to bring. After putting her silver Serpenti earrings from Bvlgari, she faced Theodore and slightly moved her ball gown’s skirt up, revealing her bare feet. Theodore slightly bowed and kneeled in front of her and showed the five stilettos. She silently looked at the stilettos, trying to match those on her gown. After a minute, she chose the white stilettos with white feathers on the toe part and crystals that wraps the ankle. She gave it to Theodore and the latter gently held her foot and wear it for her.

We clinked our glasses, still laughing. “Jeremy? Like someone? Are all the reckless indulgences in the world finished?” Stella smirked. When the laughter finally faded, we returned to the business of diamonds. I settled on a delicate sapphire and diamond set. Something quiet. Nothing too flashy. Stella waltzed into Balenciaga like a woman on a mission and bought Vivian the boots she’d been dying for. Naturally, we picked up a few other things along the way. The theme for the day?

“We know wedding superstitions and whatever, but I had these personally made for you.” They were diamond beaded barefoot sandals. The design was elegant with lace that laid on top of the foot with sapphires and diamonds embellishing it. There was a dedicant silver chain that wrapped around my middle toe and around my ankle. It was the perfect design I had for my vision. “I think it is something new and blue.” Stella smiled at me. “Do you like them?” My mouth was dry. The words were not coming to my mouth, and I wasn’t snapping out of it. Ethan had to put his hand on my back to get me to snap out of it. “I’m sorry, I love them! They are perfect, just what I was thinking!”
