I needed to take all my frustrations away through a pee. But just when I was about to make my way through the side halls, LD, my Herculean best friend, pounded the tiles as he approached to my direction. His saggy and jiggling excess fats wiggled as he brought himself closer. He was wearing a tight and fitting extra Star Wars pyjamas, and a black hood that did not look like a black hood anymore because of how small it was for his big head. Looking at it misled me at first sight, making me to initially think that it was a black trash bag wrapped over his head.

Rex's POV. I wore my black shorts that were right above my knees and a black big hoodie as I arranged my wavy blonde hair. Tonight? All I wanted was a perfect evening walk and then, a roadside meal for dinner with the one man I could trust with my life, Clark. "I guess we rockin' the streets of New Kingston today." He said with a broad smile as he wore a hoodie and slightly baggy black joggers that had thin white lines on both sides.

They walk freely but their fake name reach every where. "He's here" Kerce announced in a ringing voice which resonated. Uriel removed the magazine from his face and stood with Astin at the same time. The door opened, and a guy walked in, freezing the already cold air. He's wearing a matte black hoodie and madly ripped jeans. The hoodie covered his head, up to his eyes, to half of his face. The only thing visible is his pink, pale lips. There's a bird on his left shoulder though... A white dove.

Whatever the situation is, read the room first! “I’m from Jaxon. Here for pick up.” Aiden said simply. Those were the exact words Jaxon told him to say. “Yeah, he told me,” Hood replied as he ran his eyes on Aiden then Amira who had her hands wrapped around herself. Hood looked away from them and nodded at one of the men in the room. He walked into another room and walked out back with the bag. He dropped it on the table in front of Aiden and Amira before taking a few steps back. Hood picked up a table knife in front of him and threw it at the bag.

The ice cream is now completely forgotten, abandoned on the counter as she clings to my arm. “A hoodie?? I need a damn second to process this”. Her voice rises an octave. “Oh my GOD. He handed me a folded piece of paper. “Great, thanks. Now go!” I waved him off, glancing back outside nervously. Killian hadn’t moved. “Uh, okay…” the guy muttered as he turned to leave, muttering something about me being “weird.” Then I noticed his hoodie. A plan formed instantly. I grabbed the hood and yanked him back. “What the fu—” “Give me your hoodie!” I demanded. “What?” He blinked, utterly confused. “Joker-Jack? What’s your name?”

Little Alex, who sat on his shoulders, was the first to call out to me. "It's Alpha Jett." "It sure is," Nick replied as he lifted the child and set him down. Then he came to clasps hands with me in greeting. The faint smell of blood wafting from his hand was a sure sign that he had just performed a blood pledge. That meant someone had just joined the Forest Moon. "Welcome, Jethro. You look upset," he said. "Are you here to fight?" "I sincerely hope not," I grumbled in reply and had barely finished the words when I caught sight of my person of interest.

Kael shook his head in mock exasperation and added, “And here I thought nothing was happening under my own roof. Hood, you’ve betrayed me.” We all laughed—me, Garrick, Kael—even Mira let out a soft chuckle behind her hand. But Hood just stood there, rooted to the spot, blinking as if Mira had spoken a foreign language. I couldn’t help myself. I moved closer to him, cupped my hand around his ear dramatically, and whispered, “Hood... you are going to be a father.” The words finally seemed to sink in. Slowly—oh so slowly—a huge, disbelieving grin broke across his face.

I didn’t have the energy to pretend to be okay. “I knew I would find you here, there is no place else you would rather be. You always come here alone?” J.J’s voice broke through the quiet. I glanced over my shoulder. He stood there in a dark hoodie and jeans, hands shoved in his pockets, his hair messy like he’d run his fingers through it a thousand times. His eyes were locked on me, soft and searching. “I needed fresh air,” I said quietly, turning my gaze back to the stream. “There’s fresh air all over camp, you know,” he said with a smirk as he stepped closer.

Adam chuckles. “His mother liked the name. When he was growing up, people called him Jay. He’d get annoyed and tell them, ‘My name is Jai - like J-eye, like Kai, but with a J.’ People knew his name, but they liked how annoyed he got.” Adam laughs to himself. Okay, so Jai, like Kai, but with a J. As names go, it’s not a bad one; I think it suits him. “Are you going to forgive my mother?” I ask instead of replying to what Adam just said.
