It’s calculated that you’ll head for the stairwell because it's the only other ‘logical’ exit." There was a silence on the line, save for the heavy, synthetic static. Then, Anji responded, his voice sounding grim. "Predictable, huh? Fine. I’ll make myself unpredictable."

She groaned on the floor, her hands already on the driver seat. "Come on, you can do this!" Jessy encouraged and stretched he'd hands, pulling her in the vehicle. Dale nodded at her encouraging words, and started the vehicle at a high speed making the tire roll repeatedly in its stagnant position creating a cloud of fumes before zooming off. The frustrated officers stopped and resumed their shooting range creating holes all over the black spot car. "Whoa!" Dale screamed in excitement and pounding the steering wheel. He drove with a certain speed, and I continued sipping my smoothie. He glanced over at me, prompting me to flip the straw to ensure he didn't doubt the cleanliness, and I held it up to his lips. Raising an eyebrow, he leaned back, leaving one arm casually resting on the steering wheel. He took the straw between his lips, drawing the liquid up, which evoked mixed feelings within me.
