The lady says and Selena opens the door and we both walk in. “Hi, Kendall.” She greets her aunt and I smile politely. “Hi.” I say shyly and the lady smiles and greets me back. “This is Ellie, she has an interview tomorrow.” Selena informs her aunt. “Oh.” Kendall replies. “You two can sit, you’re not bodyguards.” She jokes and I smile. Her joke about bodyguards put me on edge and I am so worried that my dad could find out that I disobeyed him and came to the coffee shop.

She works as ad exec for a PR/Ad company while I went into hospital administration. Our schedules are totally incompatible. For the past few months, she’d been living in Austria on a work trip. They both laughed, and Ellie spent a few minutes making small talk with him before she heard footsteps approaching from behind.

I was slightly jealous to know they were able to complete the mating bond last night but I was happy for my best friend. “You sure didn't waste any time did you?” Benji asked. “Don't be jealous Benji, your time will come soon enough,” he said with a wink. Somehow I was hoping Cole stayed in the kitchen but that was not the case as he strolled out at the last moment. Riel was excited as he struggled to get off Adrian's shoulder and when he left him, he ran off to where Cole was screaming daddy.
