John Mars Books Novels & Stories

he handed the book to John, "it a freaking diary of all his crimes against humanity. He is a really bad man." "Tell me about it," Martha scoffed as she extended her hand to John and he gave her the book. She went quickly brushed through the book and raised her face to Josh, "you are a lunatic, you know that? Who writes down all the crimes they had done?" She shook her head and rolled her eyes. "He's saved us a lot of work. The book dates back to about ten years," David shrugged and rolled his shoulders.

STILL ALPHA RIVERS POV Jeremiah was first to go. He let the blanket fall to the ground before turning his back to me. “What the fuck!!” I whisper yelled “And that’s not even the worst.” Silas Barnes, Richard’s second in command said before shedding his own ridiculous shirt. The rest followed and I couldn’t even look at their backs anymore. It didn’t even deserve to be called a back anymore. “What happened?” “Your mate’s father happened. He’s one scary ass motherfucker and I wish to never see him again in my life or dreams for that matter” Leone Esposito, Matthews’ second responded with a look of pure horror in his eyes

I asked and then froze. It looked like half the club was crammed into the small space. They loitered against every available surface, their hungover faces eager. Perched on the side nearest the stove was Monster, his legs swinging like those of a schoolboy who had climbed up on his mother’s counter. There was a plate full of food on his lap and a rapt expression on his face as he shovelled a forkful of eggs into his mouth. “Iris is cooking for us,” he said with his mouth full, and I grimaced.

“Remember? The Alpha said they have no influence over the points.” I turned to John, who was absorbed in a massive book balanced on his lap. “Where did you get that?” “The library,” he replied, closing it momentarily. “The Secret Life of the Thirteen Pack: True Testimony from a Living Witness by Elder Adam.” Jess raised an eyebrow. “I see you’re buying into the very trash you used to dismiss.” “I believe him now,” John said earnestly, tapping a page. “He’s telling the truth about the Thirteen Pack.”

Why did he feel that he should work even harder first before he could reach that one-week vacation with the pay that his boss gave him? He massaged his forehead as he said, "Understood. Thank you for informing me. We'll need to regroup and come up with a new plan." As Mr. Park hung up the phone, a sense of unease settled in the pit of his stomach as it started to eat him. Is the list he sent the same as the one that the enemy presented to the auction project committee? Is there... The realization hit him like a heavy weight—there was a traitor on their side. There's a mole that wants to take them down, and they are just right beside them. Someone within their own ranks had leaked the crucial

- I responded back, burying my thoughts deep. My face flushed realizing that he had been able to pick up these X-Rated thoughts so easily since I had been so deep into it. The book hadn't helped at all to keep my mind on my task for the day. It had been the equivalent of "See Spot Run" in the Draygonian world. Nerrian rolled his eyes and closed the book. He set it off to the side on a pile of books that never quite made it back to his shelves. I don't think this will work today. Nerrian admitted shaking his head.

Killing a woman who posts no threats to her is too much. As the hired man approached Marie Arnold, his footsteps echoing softly in the dimly lit alleyway, he felt a familiar surge of adrenaline coursing through his veins. He had always been killing, and this is the same feeling he always feels whenever he is about to kill someone. He knew what he had been tasked to do, but as he drew closer to his target, he couldn't shake the nagging feeling of doubt that gnawed at the edges of his conscience.

Marcus scoffed through a smug grin, “I’ll take my chances.” Turning to address Jasper, Samuel’s face grew serious as he said in a soft tone, “Rowan saved your life, yet you align yourself with these dogs.” “These dogs helped me to learn control of my wolf side. I no longer turn whenever I’m angry,” Jasper replied in a voice just above a whisper. He sensed that Marcus’ acute hearing would still make him privy to their verbal exchange, but he hoped the man wasn’t interested enough to listen. “That’s good to hear,” Samuel replied as he mischievously grinned, “You can be one scary son-of-a-bitch. I’ll give you that.”
