Shelby pursued Rain at first, but after being mercilessly rejected again and again, he gave up and pursued Nyla instead. When Nyla realized that Shelby’s father was the Vice Principal of Bayville University, she pretended to be drunk on their first date so Shelby could get her into bed. Afterward, she managed to charm him entirely with her performance in the bedroom. However, she knew that Shelby still liked Rain. They would usually spend that time in talking about what they'll be doing for today, who will they be meeting, business things and whatsoever. I know Shelby is always having breakfast at her favorite restaurant before going straight to work. I even saw her once drinking coffee with some guy, it could be her secret boyfriend or some guy she's just seeing but honestly I highly doubt that she might be seeing someone. I may not have spent time with my sisters but I know how to observe them and Shelby is the type of person that focuses on being a girl boss rather than wasting her time on men. Shanelle on the other hand, is never at home.

I stared at it in a daze, confused as to if I should cry or laugh. My heart melted as tears gathered in my eyes. I turned to look at my daughter sitting beside me and she gave me a knowing smile like she knew about it. But how could she when she’s just six? Where the hell was Connor after doing this anyway? But my thought was interrupted by a sound coming from all the speakers in the plane. Laurel looked around giggling, I knew it was coming from the pilot section. “Hello, everyone,” an unfamiliar voice spoke up cheerfully. “As most of us has seen earlier, Connor Shelby, CEO of Shelby Enterprise is here today as he has something to say.”
