The car ride home was suffocating. Lena sat in the passenger seat with the photograph of Alexei Vitelli in her lap. She couldn't stop looking at it. His face had been her introduction to the syndicate. His voice had taught her how to kill. His hands had guided hers the first time she'd pulled a trigger. And now Victoria was asking Dominic to murder him. Dominic gripped the steering wheel so hard his knuckles had gone white. He hadn't spoken since they left the warehouse. I crash my lips onto hers, kissing her with all the frustration I feel seeing Harper with Adams. The movement of her lips on mine matches the possessiveness I assert in the kiss. I glance at Harper from the corner of my eyes and notice she is looking at me intently, but I continue caressing the brunette. I grab her breast, but it isn't as succulent as it should be - she has had a boob job. Just then, Axel stands up and pats me on the shoulder. "We should get going, Josh." Harley twirls back too and then he appears from a dark passage into the bright light of the room. He is wearing joggers and a black shirt with a cigarette in his hand. His head is down and when he is close enough, he looks up. "Good day to you too, Mr. Monteiro. It is so nice to finally meet you, I have heard a lot about you from my husband", Harley mutters with excitement. If I am not the master of this game, I won't think this isn't real and she is just acting the role she has been given. Xavier's gaze falls on her and his countenance changes instantly into that of rage.

"You've always been waiting. You are like the invisible wind. I have something important to attend to...." Harley watched as a sexy- almost naked woman - stole up behind his partner on screen, kissing his neck. Harley's mouth filled up with air as he looked away. "Yeah. You really have something important to attend to." Jasper laughed and cut the line. Harley shook his head and stood up. He walked to his wine bar and grabbed a champagne. A knock came on the door as he walked back to his cushion. "Nelson. Is that you?" He knew it was only Nelson who would come see him so late in the night.

“You won’t be saying that when I pull your soul out of your ass.” Jada snarled back. With a growl, he grabbed her wrist and slapped the cuffs around them. I knew he must’ve pinched skin from the way she gritted her teeth and winced. Next came Hakeem, who looked like Nox, thanks to Harley’s shapeshifting ability. The guy didn’t think twice before slapping a set of cuffs on him. He turned his stare to Nox and me, and I silently prayed he didn’t somehow see past Harley’s magic.

“ Boss they’ve done it again , some fucker has a serious boner on getting you banged up “ Joker comes in slamming a folder down on my desk. I glanced up from the papers I had been reading and watched as he folded his long limbs into the chair in front of me. He pulls a joint from behind his ear and lights it up taking a deep drag and then drops his head back to blow the smoke up in the air. His blonde hair was up in a bun tied at the back of his head. His piercing blue eyes come back down to look at me and he raises a pierced brow at me.
