I had lost count of days and my face no longer throbbed. I longed to breathe in fresh air and smell the grass. I wondered what was outside my prison. Grey passed him a wicked grin and whipped around landing a bone crushing blow to Eric’s face knocking him out cold. “Yay!” Harley childish voice gained his attention. “You are my super hero.” She added throwing her hands carelessly over the railing, which seemed to be a terrible decision as her body tilted forward. “Harley, no!” Grey yelled.

“No one was hurt.” Relief was instant. “Good.” “She has no right to be near him,” Harley repeated. “You don’t know their history.” Joy wasn’t surprised that Harley was about to tell the others about her past with Moon. He had warned her he’d do anything to get her away from Moon. Harley was a man of his word. “We’re aware of their history.” Justice dismissed it with a wave of his hand as he studied Joy. “I’m more concerned that you risked your life without consulting us first.”

I walked out of the living room and down to the ground floor using the elevator. Everyone dropped their heads in greeting once more and I returned their accolades before heading out to my car in the parking lot. Harley was leaning against my car, just as he had stated. "Hey, Bruce, guess what?" He said as I approached the car. "I'm thinking of becoming a stand-up comedian." "You're kidding, right?" I responded. "With jokes as good as that, I'm sure you'll make it small." "You're just jealous of my wit," he teased, winking at me. "Seriously though, this is the best car in town. Give me the keys; I'll be drinking tonight."

But because of Diana's previous contributions to the pack and for the sake of the information I am about to give, I plead for you to let us go, and we will never appear in the Moonshine pack again.” Just as I was about to scoff at her rejection, she added another statement that made me pause. With gritted teeth, Harley said, “I am willing to take the severing powder as well.” Hearing that, not just me, but everybody else in the hall was pushed into a state of extreme shock.
