RUTHLESS: The Mafia Alpha's Toy

RUTHLESS: The Mafia Alpha's Toy

Obsessively. Pge after page was a tangle of scientific theory and frantic handwritten notes, sona crossed out, others underlined. There were diagrams of claws, canine teeth, musculature comparisons between wolves and werewolves. I took out another journal from the bunch. This one had everything she knew about them. This one had a leather cover, cracked and worn with age. My hands trembled slightly as I flipped it open. The first page was dated April 12th, the ink faded but still legible.

Found (Book #8 in the Vampire Journals)

Tomorrow can’t come soon enough. As Caitlin wrote her final sentence, filling the final page, she slowly closed the journal. It was finished. She could not believe it. She held it there, in her hands, feeling the weight of it. A tear ran down her cheek as she pondered all the times and places she had written in it, all the hard times she had gone through. Somehow, she had survived. And this was her testament. Her vampire journal. Caitlin closed her eyes and rested her head on it, and she didn’t know why, but she began to cry. Her cries softly filled the air, blended with the cry of a night bird’s song, and slowly, she lulled herself to sleep.

Whispers Of The Moon's Spell

Whispers Of The Moon's Spell

LORI D. LEEeerie forest
But as we explored the sprawling halls and opulent rooms, we found something unexpected—a hidden chamber concealed behind a tapestry in the library. Curiosity piqued, we stepped inside, our eyes widening at the sight before us. The chamber was filled with ancient tomes and scrolls, their pages yellowed with age. But what caught our attention were the documents scattered across the table—a web of contracts and agreements signed by the town’s most powerful families. Nathanial picked up one of the contracts, his brow furrowing in confusion. "What is this?" I scanned the documents, my mind racing. "It looks like some kind of agreement, but I’ve never seen anything like it before. And look—there

Destined (Book #4 in the Vampire Journals)

He didn’t turn. Caitlin hurried over to the other side, facing him. He was an older man, with white hair, clean shaven, and light blue eyes that seem to stare into space as he knelt in prayer. He didn’t bother looking up at her. There was something else, too, that she sensed about him. Even in her current state, she could tell that there was something different about him. She knew that he was of her kind. A vampire. The pounding grew louder, and one of the hinges broke, and Caitlin looked back in fear. This mob seemed determined, and she didn’t know where else to go.

Instead, he reached inside his jacket. Adrian's shoulders tensed instantly. Elena's eyes narrowed. But Ethan pulled out only a weathered notebook. Its leather cover had cracked with age. Across the front, embossed in faded gold letters, were two words. Observation Journal. "I found this beside the doctor's body." He placed it gently on a nearby metal table. "I've read enough to know none of us understand what happened that night." Elena stared at the journal. "You read it?" "Only the beginning."

Hazel's Awakening: The Lycan's Heartbeat

Hazel's Awakening: The Lycan's Heartbeat

He should go to the edge of the pack and see if the family was still there, but even if they had packed up and gone, there would be perhaps some direction where they might have gone or there should be something about the girl. He folded the map he had seen up and put it into his bag with the paper. When he got out of the records room he felt just a little bit better about things. He was getting closer now; he knew he could feel it. When he returned to his study, he sat behind his desk and stared at the papers strewn across it. His mind was in chaos. He thought about his mother in the healers’ house, and about the girl who might be her only hope of recovery. He thought about the family that h

This is an intriguing read! I must confess that I dislike Alpha Ryder. He is definitely the stumbling block in her life. Ugh! Dude wants to eat his cake and have it. *Rolls my eyes* Her stepfather is a jerk. Keep updating! I can't wait to read more.

In Service of the Alpha

“This day blows.” “Best get used to it, kitty-cat. There are a lot more days like this one ahead,” Kahn says. “The storm is always worst before the calm. Remind yourself of that every so often.” The vampire looks up and his eyes glaze over. He’s mind linking with someone. When his eyes clear, they’re troubled and filled with concern. “Johnathan took off into the wilderness.” “Who- How- What?” “Oberon has eyes on him, but he can’t follow where Johnathan’s going.”

What an incredible journey with this book! The storyline and characters are enthralling. I liked the complexity of every character, their struggles to overcome abuse and how they supported each other to overcome it and how they faced a nearly extinction event.

The Alpha's Regret: Chasing Back His Rejected Luna

The Alpha's Regret: Chasing Back His Rejected Luna

There are pinned photos of different creatures, strange maps, and even large mirrors that are a little dusty and have been cracked. “Did you do all this?” I ask, waving a hand around. “Yep,” she says casually. “Though my mum did some before she passed. Spending time here helps keep my mind off stress.” “It's… well it's both amazing and spooky,” I breathe. “I'm glad you see it that way.” Just then, Rhett, enters, followed by Declan, Nadia, and Elian. Rhett stares at Sarah as she goes to a dusty drawer and pulls out a thick leather journal. She flips through it, then pulls out a folded sheet of paper, drawing all my focus.

Shadows and First Blood

Shadows and First Blood

“Then let’s call it negotiation.” They took him to an old warehouse near the docks. No chains, no cuffs, just the weight of armed eyes. In the center of the room was a desk that didn’t belong there, stacked with folders and one photograph—her face, frozen mid-snarl, fangs out, eyes burning: Silver. “She killed one of ours,” the man said. “Lieutenant Harker. Throat torn out, no cleanup, no witness control. You were seen in the same borough that night.”
