"Josh, how are you?" Josh looked up at me with big, expressive hazel eyes that shimmered with curiosity. His soft brown curls were slightly tousled, giving him an effortlessly adorable look. He had the same serious expression Kyle often wore, but there was a warmth to it, a quiet intelligence beyond his young age. He was dressed in a neatly pressed white dress shirt, dark suspenders holding up a pair of tiny trousers, and polished shoes that gleamed under the party lights. He hesitated for a moment before offering a shy grin. "Good, Auntie Shawna." His voice was small but steady, polite in the way that suggested Eugene and Kyle had done well raising him.

"I have a 9:00 AM practical. If I miss it, my CA is gone." Josh stood up, wincing. He walked to his closet and pulled out a heavy, oversized black hoodie with "KING’S COURT" printed in bold gold letters across the back and a pair of joggers. It was his signature campaign gear. Everyone on campus knew it. "Wear this," he said, tossing it to me. "It’s better than wearing that ugly blouse, the blouse is ruined and it's an eyesore even when it was neat. And... it’ll tell people you’re with me. Maybe the guys hunting you will think twice if they think we’re always together."

Both ladies were flanked on both sides of Josh as he chose to sit in between them despite Chloe’s tomato face. He was built the way some people just were, broad through the shoulders, arms defined without being theatrical about it, the kind of body that came from actually using it rather than performing for a mirror. I knew this. I had lived with him for four months. I had never had a problem with it before yesterday. “Morning.” He pulled his shirt over his head without ceremony and reached for his towel.

And she didn't understand how someone, coming from such a rich background, looked like that. Josh looked at his clothes once more and he was embarrassed by their shabby appearance, he glanced at the ground, his cheeks flushing as he replied. “Um… I'm going to try on new clothes.” He stood up and moved to the bed, picking up a shopping bag and bringing out some black pants and a white shirt.

I shake my head at his arrogance. “Oh whatever Jackie Chan, let’s get back the pent house before dad flips his shit.” I say taking a towel and wiping the sweat from my body, a few men that are lifting weights across the way are staring, with lustful eyes. I quickly throw my tank top over my sports bra, to hide away from their sickening gaze. Josh notices my discomfort, and looks toward where my eyes keep wandering. Josh clenches his jaw when he catches the men staring at me….here we go…

I swear I have never seen the girl get dressed so quickly in her entire life. "Are you two ladies ready?" Josh shouts as he makes his way across the penthouse from the couch where he's been waiting for us to get ready. Now, as she looked from a distance, she saw Joshua dressed in a white shirt complemented by a casual black suit. His clothes' fabric was soft and comfortable, which nicely balanced out his stern demeanor. Below that were his long, straight legs. Natasha pursed her lips. She felt that Joshua's noble demeanor seemed out of place amidst the crowd no matter how he tried to blend in.
