Jake managed to avoid some of his attack but when it got faster, the man tried to take him by his feet, the chain is now embracing his right foot which made Jake lay in the ground. "That's foul!" Hunter exclaimed. "Hey grandpa! Get up and finish it now! I am already starving here," he added while caressing his tummy. Hunter will always be Hunter. I shook my head and looked down at Jake who's now glaring at Hunter. I am sure he was getting irritated by now.

Hunter has transitioned into a wicked wolf but is still laying down on the ground. "Shit. Hurry." Axel says and rushes to the cage and opens the door. Dr. Spine enters the cage and quickly puts the collar around Hunter's neck. Hunter lets out another growl. The collar just barely fits around his neck. "Shit, shit, shit, shit." Dr. says while trying to chain the collar to the chains on the wall in the cage. *Click* the chain clicks into the ring on the collar. In the meantime, Hunter has stood up and is now face to face with Dr. Spine. Dr. spine is stuck in the corner and my heart is pounding in my chest. Hunter walks closer to him while showing his teeth and snapping at him.

Even her butt hurt because she fell on the chains, bruising the underside of her thighs. "Watch me stain your white Dove red, MacIntyre!" Caine flashed his teeth to Hunter as he slowly pushed the buttons of his shirt off the holes. Hunter's reaction to seeing it was natural. He howled with feral rage. His chains clinked as he strained against them in an attempt to break free, while the veins on his forearm and neck stood out. "Mother fucker! Don't you feel ashamed targeting a helpless woman? Your beef is with me. Come at me if you've got the balls. Leave her alone." Hunter's voice cracked from all the force he was using to scream. It didn't stop Caine.

It was ruled by Alpha Jaxson, a cold and cruel man who believed only in power and pain. Hunter went to the school with honor in his heart, ready to face the fire and prove himself. But instead of coming home with pride, he came home in chains. One night, a beloved teacher at the academy was murdered. I breathed hard, dragging my body up as I crawled forward on all fours like a fucking dog. I didn't stop, didn't even look back, not even when the air around me stiffened. Not even when the animals went quiet and the trees froze as though they had held their breath. Because deep down, I already knew what this meant. Growing up, I heard stories, rumours by the other slaves about the Hunter's Territory. No one dared to cross last this line, not even Alpha's or Betas and especially, not Omegas like myself. This land belonged to someone or something more deadly and mysterious.

I sucked in a sharp breath at his declaration, “If you go against this verdict and ever set foot on this pack land, you will be treated as a lowly rogue and killed upon sight.” My gaze danced around and settled on Hunter; something had shifted in his eyes between the time of my trial and now. A lone tear slid down my face as I held his gaze in a silent question. ‘Is this what you wanted?’ I asked mentally, even though I knew he couldn’t hear me now that our link had been severed. ‘I hope you are happy.’ I added, wincing in pain and folding forward as the first lash of the whip hit my back.

"Yes. I want to leave" I answered back fast, and I take a big breath again, looking into his eyes. I promise myself that I will be strong and for the first and last time, I will not show any kind of emotion. I will not let Hunter play me like usual, and I will leave with what remains of my dignity. "Ok, I don't need you anymore. I think your purpose served very well. You Know that leaving now you don't have anything from me."

But it’s the long cut from his right brow to his chin that really makes him stand out. They’re claw marks. “Don’t touch her! Don’t fucking touch her!” Hunter shouted and I heard his chains hitting the floor as he tried to escape as well, but only being beaten more by the men around him. It hurt to see him like this and fuck, I’m crying. I can’t control the tears anymore and they’re continuously flowing like a fucking river. Hunter is spitting out blood and even with both his eyes practically beat up shot, he tries to look at me, forcing himself to keep them open so that he could see me. See if anyone tries to hurt me.

Our son whimpered but quieted instantly when Rhiannon touched his head, silver light flickering faintly across the wound as she soothed him. I looked back at Hunter's body one final time. There was no triumph in my chest. No sense of justice served or balance restored. Just a simple, irreversible fact: The cycle ended here. I turned away. And didn't look back again.

But I felt something else. A flicker low in my abdomen. Subtle. New. Life. My breath caught. Not fear. Instinct. Protect. The Hunter leader lifted his hand. “Take the Door,” he ordered. Arrows flew. And behind them, something far more dangerous moved through the ranks. Not shadow. Not human. A chained beast. Bound in silver restraints. Eyes glowing with fury and pain. And when it lifted its head and looked at me, recognition slammed into my chest.
