A Contractual Affair: Falling For The Billionaire's Step son

A Contractual Affair: Falling For The Billionaire's Step son

“Where the hell is he? I need to see him. He's the one that can clarify all these things. His daughter has been suffering in the hands of George, and you are there, just telling me now?" "But, Mom, you are just getting better. You just woke up from a coma.” I defended myself, but she seems not convinced by my excuses. “Since the day I woke up, you should have told me.” My mom demanded, her voice laced with seriousness, "I don't want to bother you." We kept arguing like a mother and child for a long time, forgetting that we had many things to do. "Okay, okay, tell me, where is Jones?" Then Juliet stepped forward and responded to my mother, "Mrs. Claire, my father is being held in SIN CITY war

Pregnant For The Bully

Pregnant For The Bully

****** Edward Jones (Hawk Andrews) Damn! A pot belly! Really. It was right in front of me and I didn't even see it. How can I be so stupid and ignorant. What kind of foolishness is this. How the fuck did I allow myself to be deceived by my dad, I should have known he would do something like that. And as for her mother, she must have been threatened by my dad or there was something in for her.

I didn't think I would enjoy this book, but I did. I commend the writer for a good job. The unexpected plot twist at the middle kept me glued and I couldn't stop reading. I enjoyed reading, it makes me angry, sad and happy. This is one of the best books I have read on this app.

Friendly advice. DO NOT READ!!! The book starts good, but around the middle and especially at the end is SOOO BAD. Too many clichés just to keep the book going. The writer loses tracks of characters and plot lines, leaving plot holes. There is barely any logic in what is written. HORRIBLE BOOK!!!

Gosh! My Silly Husband Is a Rich Boss

Gosh! My Silly Husband Is a Rich Boss

“But he’s my dad anyway, isn’t he?” Sonnet squatted down, touching his shoulder. “Uncle Johnson is your and Lune’s biological father, but he’s not married to me. If I marry another uncle in the future, what will you call him?” “We’ll just call him Dad too,” Jaybie replied. Sonnet inexplicably breathed a sigh of relief. It seemed that Jaybie was not rejecting Maxwell either. “So why are you delivering food to Uncle Johnson?” “He’s been too busy at work lately and doesn’t even have time to eat. I know he doesn’t like eating outside, so I specially saved him some dinner.”

The Werewolf Hunter's Secret

The Werewolf Hunter's Secret

I rolled my eyes at him, acting insulted. “Quit underestimating me. I’m getting tired of it.” I hefted the bag and turned to the door, pausing and turning back. “Did you fire my dad?” Jones nodded. “I did. He wasn’t happy. I told him I was giving you a few weeks to get it done and I would call him if you didn’t.” “How did he take it?” I didn’t really care but I was curious. “Not well,” he admitted. “I paid him for his time, but he wasn’t pleased.”

Miss Garsia, the Cat Is Out of the Bag!

Miss Garsia, the Cat Is Out of the Bag!

Davis gritted his teeth and asked, 'Cotyledon, if you really like him, then dad will tell you to stay with him for you, okay? Jones Davis didn't expect Mr.Davis to be willing to do this for himself, and his eyes turned red. Mr.Davis didn't know about the situation between her and Hugo James, and thought that Hugo James refused to be with him, and he wanted to get back together but couldn't. When he said that, he almost put down his dignity and wanted to ask for a relationship for her. Jones Davis directly reached out and hugged Mr.Davis, with a little sob in his voice: 'Dad, you don't need to do this for me. I won't be with him anymore.'

My Dead Dad Wants Us to Join Him

My Dead Dad Wants Us to Join Him

I sat there for a long time, holding Billy's body, while my hazy mind slowly pieced everything together. From Dad's car accident to his so-called "predictions", and the inescapable deaths that befell Asher, Jasper, and Billy… I unraveled them bit by bit, until I remembered that every time I heard Dad's "predictions", Felix had always poured me a glass of the liquid supplement beforehand. He'd looked so concerned back then. "Honey, I know the loss of your loved ones has hit you hard, but you need to take good care of yourself, too. We still have Billy. If something happens to you, too, what will Billy and I do?"

Dumped Dad Turns the Tables

Stacy was speechless for a while. "Must you really put it that way? I'm here to tell you that my dad wants to see you. Can you come with me for a bit?" As it turned out, Stacy's dad, Ryan Howard, heard about our divorce and got so upset that he had to be hospitalized. And now, he wanted to see me. Although I seldom talked to Ryan, he still treated me quite nicely on the regular. Back when everyone else thought that I was too poor to marry Stacy, he was the one who ignored them and encouraged us to get married with his blessings instead.

My Dad Sued Me for Throwing Up

My Dad Sued Me for Throwing Up

Under my insistence, the third memory was projected onto the large screen. It was a memory even I couldn't recall. The moment I was born, Mom died from a massive hemorrhage. Dad wept as he took the swaddled baby, his eyes filled with complex emotions. Beside him, Bryce stared at me with intense hatred. After Mom's death, Dad moved through life like a walking corpse. When preparing the formula, it was either ice-cold or scalding hot. Only when I cried in distress would he frantically realize his mistake.

The Alpha and the Rose

The Alpha and the Rose

He was a bald-headed Native American man with a scruffy beard who was just about the right size to make his nickname appropriate. He was also one of dad’s old friends, which is why they’d shared their super lame handshake when they met inside the diner. It was a little embarrassing — and June said that out loud — but I was actually glad to see dad smile the way he did when he saw Big Bear. For just a moment, he wasn’t the weary contractor he’d been back in Orange County, single father to two very willful redheaded daughters. He was just Jono — short for Jonathan — former star running-back for the Forest Hills Ravens, which I gathered from their conversation was the name for the high school f

My Daddy and Uncles

My Daddy and Uncles

Uncle Harrison said. “Our flight…” I asked. “It's in the early morning,” Uncle Harrison said before taking off the living room, and I was dumbstruck looking at him. “He lied…” Dad said, sitting on the sofa and setting news channel for himself. “But…” He cut me off and mentioned," You know he doesn't like Jenny, and he never trusts anyone except family. “Uncle Henry…” I called for. “He knows him and his ways” Dad replied. “Ok…” I replied.
