Letting go of my jaw, Julia turned to Debby, her leg raised to deliver another kick. That’s when I realized that my own legs were free. Just as she landed a kick right to Debby’s stomach, making her spit out, her eyes wide in horror as the wind got knocked out of her…I raised my own leg and kicked her in the stomach…making her fly back to hit the washroom door. I chuckled as I felt Tate squeeze my hand gently, probably to keep himself calm while his mother babbled about decorations and food and whatnot.

~Esperanza’s POV~ Juliana stood beside Nicole. Her one hand was wrapped around her shoulder and the other held Nicole’s hand tightly, comforting her in the moment. I instantly felt like throwing up. Juliana isn't someone with care and love. All of this fakeness was for the camera, but nobody seemed to notice that. Her voice was soft enough to sound reasonable… sharp enough to cut.
