Georgie snorts, “what pack? I’ve been carrying it for the past twenty miles.” “Ali!” Annie yells up at me. “Jump in! The water is great!” “No!” I yell back. “Some of us have a thing about heights!” “Pussy!” I look over at an amused James and Georgie, “can you believe her? Who just jumps without warning?” “That’s Annie,” Georgie shrugs. “She’s always been that way.” James steps closer to the edge and looks down, “I’m jumping.” He drops his, and my, backpacks before backing up a few feet. “Wanna come with me babe? I’ll hold you on the way down.”

I hated feeling weak for it tampered with my mental capacity. Clean and dry, I stepped into my horrible outfit. I pushed myself to the bed and allowed sleep to take me. I needed it. ☆☆☆☆☆ "Wake up!" A girl’s voice rang out in my subconscious. I panicked as I sat up rapidly holding the pillow as a defence against the opposition. "Hey, don't be scared," Jumoke whispered. "No one is going to hurt you here.” She said as she placed a couple of pillows behind me.

What I do care about though, is blowing up Cara and her baby. “Cara, I am going to climb up on the roof.” I explain. “Then I am going to bust through the skylight in the roof and pull you guys out through the it.” I make my way over to a nearby tree. It doesn’t look too bad. Grabbing a branch I quickly swing my way onto a higher branch. So goes, until I am level with the roof of the cabin. Before jumping, I stop and look out. This could be it, this could be the last moment of my life. Have I lived a good one? Probably not, if I live through this, will I change? Probably not. With that sobering thought, I jump.

HUNTER'S POV Two hours ago... "So, who's the lucky girl? I mean, It's not everyday the legendary fuckboy actually refuses a steamy one night stand with Kylie fucking Miller." Jared, my personal training partner, inquired, raising a curious brow. I groaned.

-Rose is already spoiling you- he says pretending to be angry. -No way, not at all- I say and we both laugh. Bob gives her some exercises and sends me to the treadmill. I spend twenty minutes running to warm up. Then he sends me out to do sit-ups, squats and push-ups. Some people stare at me but I ignore them.

I love that Jake is so attentive with them, teaching them all the basics of taking care of their horse and how to properly ride them. "Hi baby... Are you all set?" He says as he leans over kissing my lips. "I am.... But I'm so nervous to leave my babies for a whole week without seeing them." I say, my face pouting in sadness. He chuckles and nods while tightening his grip on me. "Mom, is auntie Sarah and Coral going to be in California with us?" She asks making me turn to her. She loves spending time with her cousin Coral, who is just a year older then her.

Up front, Jay gave her a quick thumbs up; his own show of solidarity. The group trusted the plan. No, Megan corrected herself. It wasn't the plan that they trust, it was her. So, she tried to trust herself too; trust that she had made the best decision in a bad situation. "How long now?" she asked again. "Three minutes." Jay was all concentration at this point. He kept stretching his legs and hands at alternates every five seconds, doing some light jumps and turns in between. It almost felt as if he was an athlete getting ready for a championship race and not an emergency firewall in front of an explosion.

“I’ll kill you…!” I spun around and ran into the jungle barefoot. I didn’t know where I would go in the dense forest. As long as it saved my dignity, I was ready to take the risk of my life. I would never let it happen. I would fight until my last breath. I removed the tape from my mouth and kept racing through the forest. Suddenly, I tripped over and landed on mud, grimacing. “Here she is..!” I went numb when I heard Connor’s amused voice.

I feel like I want to destroy Scarlet's smile of success. Ryujin jumped on the trampoline first. He looks like he was enjoying the trampoline but the problem is, the rest of it is not laughing at the bullseye. But still, the good thing is that it is still in the target area. It just finished jumping because the bullet ran out and no one hit the target.
