Elaine's POV When I got back from Duke's Office, I saw Mr.West was alone inside the office who was busy looking down at some paper works seriously as he sat on Duke's table. I looked around to look for Duke but he was not around. " Mr. West, where is my husband?" I said, astonished to hear my voice, which caused him to look up fast towards me. "Oh, Mrs. Hayes, you look gorgeous in your new dress." Mr. West instantly praised me on how lovely I looked in my dress.

Kevan casually dropped a bombshell on Wendy. "What? You two are getting married?" With a doubtful look on her face, Wendy rubbed her ears. "Am I hearing this right?" "No, you're not mistaken. I heard it too," Aster replied. He seemed more composed than Wendy, but the joy on his face was evident. "That's fantastic!" Aster exclaimed with a wide smile, revealing his bright and white teeth.

Jason said casually but his gaze showed seriousness. “Never,” Susan screamed, grabbing her mom’s hands. “Jason, we’ll talk about this another time. It seems that bitch has bewitched you.” Ketura told him. “Jokes on you! Soon I will be married to Wendy and there’s nothing you can do about it.” As soon as they left, Jason got into his car and placed a call. “Get to work. I want her as soon as possible.” He said when the call connected and he hung up Meanwhile, Priscy and Wendy were on their way back to the office after lunch at the eatery close to the company.

Wendy smiled and waved at her. As Lysia made her way to the cashier, Wendy kept Ryder standing there for a moment. She squinted at the cake box and shook her head, "Lys doesn’t actually like blueberry. That’s her husband’s favorite." "Huh? H-Her husband? She’s married?" Ryder exclaimed, surprised. Wendy pretended to cover her mouth in shock, her eyes wide. "You didn’t know? She just got married last month." Seeing the disappointed look on Ryder’s face as he walked back with Lysia, Wendy smiled to herself, certain she had just done her younger brother a favor. With that, she immediately called Kyle.

Edmund said looking longingly at his wife "Edmund, don't be so cheesy we're not kids anymore, we could have the usual. Come on get up hon, we can't be late for our flight back home. I'm sure our beloved son would be so thrilled to hear the great news we have for him" Wendy said grinning from ear to ear as if she was the one getting engaged. They both got out of bed freshened up and ate breakfast and began getting ready for their flight. An hour later, Monica came to the hotel where Edmund and Wendy were staying

Dude looked like he'd been camped out for hours—hands all purple from the cold. The second he spotted me, he bolted over. He looked rough. Older. Wrecked. Whatever went down with Wendy clearly chewed him up. He went in for a hug. I stepped back, zero emotion. "If you've got something to say, spit it out." His face flickered—yeah, that stung. Long pause. Then, rough and wrecked: "Wendy lost the baby. I ended the engagement. Can you come back to me?"

Jordan said and hugged her gently. “I'm so happy too Jordan, I did not know a day will come when I finally get married and walk down the aisle” Wendy said and tears of joy trickled down her eyes. “Shhh...don’t cry, you are the best tutor and mentor ever and the universe just rewarded you with a dream come true. I love you Mama Wendy, congratulations” Jordan said and she seemed very happy and hugged him again, resting her head on his chest. “I love you too my baby” Wendy said was she realized how much of a son he had been to her, he had become the child she wasn't able to have all this while.

From what she could remember, Giselle and Jonathan were still in a relationship. She said with a smile, "You must be married now, right, Gigi? I'm sorry. After having Yarick, I haven't been feeling too well, so I couldn't congratulate you in person—" "Jonathan and I have broken up." Wendy didn't finish her sentence and was stunned speechless. Then, she looked surprised. "What? You've broken up?" Before Wendy went abroad, Giselle was deeply in love with Jonathan and said they would get married after Jonathan took over the Lawsons.

I was standing near the edge of the room, finally alone for a moment, when Marcus found me. "You look happy," he said, though his tone suggested the opposite observation entirely. "Married to my uncle. That's quite the upgrade." "Don't." "I'm just saying. A few weeks ago you were crying in my driveway, and now look at you." He stepped closer than was comfortable, close enough that I caught the smell of whiskey on his breath. "Tell me something. Does he know? About us? About everything we had before all this?" "There is no us, Marcus. There hasn't been for weeks."

"Didn’t expect you to become the talk of the town this quickly, but you handled it well. Mr. West is thrilled. Says the film is getting a lot of attention because of you." I gave a small nod, trying to stay composed despite everything. "Thank you." Then Callum appeared, hands in his pockets, a teasing grin on his face. "So your boyfriend is Zephyr Lloyd? That explains a lot. No wonder you never gave me a chance." He shook his head with a laugh. "He suits you." I met his gaze and nodded without hesitation. "Yeah. He does." Mia, who had been fixing my makeup, suddenly leaned in. "So when’s the wedding?"
