Just Married Wendy Novels & Stories

Wendy Fisher loves me with all her heart. Ten years ago, she was willing to trade her life to save mine. I give up my money, power, and identity without hesitation to elope with her. But when I go into shock from blood loss after a car accident, I can't get through to her on the phone. At that moment, her assistant posts a picture on Instagram with the caption, "Reunited as a family of three, safely and happily." In the photo, I see Wendy holding the baby's hand. She's so happy that she's even forgotten to take off her wedding ring. It turns out even a love forged in life and death amounts to nothing more than this. I smile bitterly and dial my stepmother's number. "I want to restore

I assure myself, even if deep inside me, I know that something is not right. "It's time, girl. Let's go get you married," Turning my attention to Jesse whose hand is already stretched out and ready to lead me out, I place my palm on her hand and together, we stride out of the room. The car that's supposed to pick me up to the venue is already packed outside my apartment. We hop in the car, and it zooms off. My name is Wendy Lee, twenty-six years old orphan living alone and striving for herself. I got so lost in thoughts that I didn't know when we arrive at the church until Jesse's voice pulls my attention.

Evelyn said. Well.... I guess they indeed struck luck. Vivian said, looking at Evelyn. After you left, news started spreading that the CEO of Knight Group, Logan Knight, is in a relationship with Madison Reed. I had thought it was just a rumor, the famous tycoon couldn't possibly have such bad taste, right? But it turned out to be true, their billboards were everywhere. Soon after they had a grand wedding, it was the talk of the town. I even heard they had a son together, although he's never been on the news. Vivian explained.

Chapter 38: In the news Wendy walked beside the shopping cart, but she wasn’t really shopping. She picked things up and dropped them back without looking. Her voice had been going on for a while, and she didn’t seem ready to stop. “I just don’t understand it,” she said. “Why are they living together? Does that even make sense? They used to date. Everyone knows that. Now suddenly they are under the same roof like nothing happened. How am I supposed to pretend that’s normal?”

"Why not? My brother’s not bad-looking, and he's still single because..." Simon quickly interrupted, "Alright, no more nonsense. Caitlin and I are really good friends, and you still don’t know? Caitlin is already married." "Whaaat?" Wendy’s mouth dropped open in surprise. As she came to her senses, she couldn't help but feel sorry. "Who did you marry, Caitlin?" "The second son of the Vanderbilt Family, Sebastian," Simon answered. "Sebastian? Is that the guy who was in that car accident recently?" Wendy had heard about it from her family. "Wait, didn’t they say he became a living corpse? You married him? Then that’s like jumping into a fire pit!"

“He’s caught up in a dating scandal with actress Lucinda Lambert! It’s all over the top trending list. Paparazzi caught them entering a hotel together. Rumor has it they’re in a relationship. Lucinda’s a total A-lister—this is major!” Quinn, sitting nearby, chimed in. “Wait… isn’t Sean engaged to Charlotte? How could he…” She trailed off, then turned to look meaningfully at Zac. “Zac, you’re close with Charlotte. Do you know if they’ve broken up?” Wendy stiffened. In the dim light, no one noticed how pale her face had turned. “That’s impossible!” she blurted out, her voice rising. “They were doing great! They’re practically about to get married. You must’ve seen it wrong!”

The first thing she saw was Xavier in an all-white suit, standing tall and striking, his smile soft and effortless. Opposite him, Wendy wore a flowing white wedding gown, slowly making her way toward him. The two stood hand in hand, their love so radiant it practically spilled through the screen. The comments were endless. Everyone was saying how perfect they looked together, how they were made for each other. Wendy had also updated her social media with a new post. “Taking off now for our honeymoon trip!” Attached was a photo of her and Xavier boarding a flight to the South. Just then, the sky lit up in the distance.

She will come back to me once she decides to settle down,' thought James. He pretended not to know anything and waited for his wife to come home. That was until Sean appeared four years ago. Since then, Wendy never had an affair with anyone else. She would spend a ton of money on him to increase his popularity. She acted like a huge fan of his. Now, she even wanted to have a child with him and also hold a wedding. It was ridiculous. As Wendy's lawfully wedded husband, James felt like he was a clown. At that moment, he finally realized that Wendy would never come home.

“I was starting to think you’d disappeared again.” Justin ignored her. “This wedding is stretching me to the limit,” Wendy purred. “Especially with it so close. I want everything to be perfect.” My stomach churned. They were getting married for real. A wave of nausea washed over me. “Of course, love,” Justin said, his voice calm. “Everything will be perfect.”

"Wendy put a lot of effort into going on this trip with me, Nate. I also have to thank you for allowing her to fulfill a dream of mine by having a wedding photoshoot with me. How's this? Let me treat you guys to a meal to thank you for looking out for me. I'm afraid I'll have to continue troubling you for some time. I hope you won't mind my presence, Nate." Judging from the goading look in his eyes, I deduced that he was getting antsy. After all, I'd shown no reaction at all since the day I received Wendy's pregnancy report. I didn't even confront Wendy about it. Needless to say, I wasn't keen on engaging in such pointless fights with Harvey. In five days, I'd be out of Wendy's life for good
