Submissive to my boss

Submissive to my boss

the man asks us, curious. At the time we appeared, we tried to clarify a bit regarding the circumstance in which we tracked each other, despite the fact that we did not discover how to delve into many ideas about it due to my tension regarding knowing who — is Melido — and assume that we can converse with him. “We think someone was taken from us .” “Two individuals, truth be told,” my brother reacts. - Does anyone think who? - "Uh, the ghost riders needed to remove our memories ." Actually, that's useful."

Curse of the Hallow Moon

Curse of the Hallow Moon

“It does increase our odds as all the saints without formal name days are lumped together as helpmeets. But let’s not press our luck! Stay awake and alert.” It was then the forlorn ghosts arrived. They were wandering souls without hope of redemption, forgotten by kin and by history. They were not visible, but their grumbling complaints could be sensed if not heard. The two girls were beset by importuning ghosts; men and women, whose bodies had been hanged, people who had died by mistake in a gunfight, young people who had caught tetanus and died of lockjaw, or victims of smallpox and diphtheria.

The Luna's Law

The Luna's Law

I could almost hear the ghosts of those who had been lost whispering in the breeze, urging us to find a way to honor their memory. As we ventured deeper into the ruins, it became apparent that the devastation extended far beyond the physical. The emotional toll weighed heavily on all of us, an unspoken bond forged through loss. The ground was uneven beneath our feet, the earth scarred and broken, much like the spirits of the pack members we had failed to protect.

Ascension of a Gamma

Ascension of a Gamma

They lived their lives with a different identity to each person in their life but died with the same everyone had and will remember them by. It was nothing short of cruel, but such was reality, and it’d take time to overcome the grief, though it didn’t always happen. The memories were our attachments to them that transcended their physical company, and it’d continue to remind us that they once were, by our sides. Sometimes the feeling of a ghostly presence would linger when we found ourselves staying in places where we used to spend time with them, and the nights were worse because of the eerie silence that filled the room.

Michelle
Absolutely one of the BEST books I have ever read!! The storyline is phenomenal, the characters are interesting and will have you crying, laughing, cheering and every other emotion in between! It was incredibly hard to put down once I started reading. My only complaint, I wish it was longer!!!
Cherry B. Salcedo

Forbidden Pleasure: Daddy's Favorite Student

Their hands are almost touching. A shiver ran down my spine. Some ghosts don’t need to haunt you. They just wait until you find them again. And tonight, I had.

under his control

under his control

The bunker lights flickered one last time before dying completely. We stood there, breathing in the smoke and silence, knowing we’d just destroyed the last trace of Victoria’s empire and the last living echo of Morgan. Ava’s eyes shimmered. “It’s really over.” “Maybe for now.” I touched her shoulder gently. “But ghosts like hers don’t die easily.” She turned toward the sea, her voice trembling. “Then we’ll be ready when they come back.” For a moment, the quiet between us felt heavier than the explosion. We both knew what we’d lost our families, our innocence, the people we used to be.

Kingdom of Ash and Blood

Kingdom of Ash and Blood

“And they know us too well.” I tilted my head. “Then maybe it’s someone who once was us.” He stilled. “Someone inside?” “Not inside,” I whispered. “Someone we buried.” His gaze hardened. “You think—” “I don’t think,” I said. “I know. The Veil never dies. They just wait for you to forget them.” We stood there in silence — the air between us thick with old ghosts and new fears. He finally said, “Then we bring the fight to them.”

Mated to my Bully

Mated to my Bully

ZEPHYR’S POV “Yes, there are two of our ghosts who are not with us now.” “Do they have names?” I asked him. “N….” He paused, rethinking his reply again. Then he said. “We go by one name, Ghost. Any other name aside this, I am unaware of it. I know it seems undutiful for me to not have this simple information but sometimes our ghosts tend to break out of character and hence get themselves into scenarios that end up leaving them with souvenirs like names, tattoos, tags.”

"That session almost killed you." "We need help," Ren said. "I saw... echoes. In the lobby. Other glitches." He looked at the group. "We aren't the only ghosts in the machine. We need to find the others."

RESCUED BY THE DON'S BROTHER

RESCUED BY THE DON'S BROTHER

Did that word change its meaning, and I didn’t know? “His ghost?” I snap at her. Actually, we all do snap our eyes at this bitch. “Ghosts are supposed to be spirits of dead beings, not jailed persons, right? Is Ejay perhaps supposed to be dead?” I hiss at this bitch. Was that a slip of the tongue, or do they know exactly what happened to Ejay? Or perhaps I should ask whether these fools know something that I don’t know because this new twist is bringing back things that I thought I had buried the day that I killed Ejay?
