After sitting in the tub crying for two hours , I play with the rubber ducklings as if I was 5 years old . I can't say for sure that I've come to peace with it . I've only acknowledged it for now . I'll never get Aeron back . A part of me is angry at Jace . A part is pissed at myself for keeping false hope . I just feel sad and empty . " It's alright . Bad things happen . That's what life is . A ping on my phone distracts me and I scramble to check what it was. It was a message from Williams and it makes my breath hitch. “Do not screw this up Stephanie. Your son is only a bullet away” The message read and my hand shook. I really can’t screw this up

Nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Not blinking. Not saying a word.

Maybe. Well, here goes nothing.

Joel drained my love for him until there was nothing left but hatred. One day, he had a luxury bag couriered over again. I called him up and asked to meet. When he arrived with hopeful eyes, I took the bag and handed it to a girl passing by. "Y-You don't like that brand anymore? I can get something else next time." "It's not about the brand.
